Maybe when KH3 is released, FF7R will be more in focus... You should not forget that Tetsuya Nomura is the director for both games, so it is natural that one of the two is prioritised.

It may seem strange but I used a really risky strategy... I used treasure trove with following medals in the exact order: Illustrated KH2 Kairi with Defense Boost IV HD Roxas with Attack Boost II KH 0.2 Riku Black Coat King Mickey with Attack Boost I Saïx A with Attack Boost I I used it to try to defeat the healing cat first to see if I'm getting somewhere... I was about an hour trying to defeat this trio. It's not the best way but I kinda got frustrated...

Try to use as much medals as possible, which ups your strength and drops their defense. About two offensive medals (+one friend medal) should be enough. They don't need to be single-target medals but they have to be pretty strong (for example 0.2 Aqua is a all-target medal but it's extremely powerful). It'll take some time but I'm sure you'll make it ^^
Maybe I can help you a little Illustrated KH2 Kairi (healing, stat up/down) with Defense Boost and KH 0.2 Riku (strengh up) were a huge help to me. Try to concetrate your attacks to the cat that heals everybody (the pink one). If you have a medal to up your defense (base or PSM) a bit or to remove negative stats use them as well (I was really lucky to get through without something like this). Hopefully this helps a little
