SAO should be studied. It's so remarkably bad that it should be presented in Creative Writing classes as an example of what you should never do when writing stories or characters. -
I don't know why this is happening. Volume 3 wasn't great but at least it kept a level of decency. This one just doesn't work.

It's not only dissapointing plot-wise. The character development feels like it's been done a 100 times before to the point that it's too predictable to care. Some moments have been copy-pasted from other shows (cough,cough Blake-Father moment, cough). The action scenes are all (except 2) downright BAD! To the point that fan made animations can do better. Then we have awkward and unfunny dialogue mixed with awkward character movements that look unrealistic. I don't know why...

Why did RWBY get so terrible with this Volume? Get it together Rooster Teeth. I've already lost 80% of my respect for you.

I found the Medal Draws to be the most unrewarding. Kept getting terrible medals. So a game that fails to reward me, despite my efforts, is not a game I want to play.

True, but Gen 3 Remakes were done according to predictions. New console -> New Gen -> Remakes. Sure, I know that they want to stray from the predictable route but I kind of like the predictability with the remakes. Still I'll probably be okay with whatever they do. And wow, I'm sensing a bit of hostility there. Not sure what caused that.

A Kalos and Alola game would be interesting to see but the Sinnoh Remakes probably aren't in the works since they will probably make Gen 8 first for the NX and then tackle the remakes just like they did with all the past remakes.

Though regional variants might make it to Sinnoh, there won't be a Sinnoh remake unless they switch the main series game to a new console. So expect it around Gen 8-9.
