I have to work that evening and I won't have access to computers until I get home, but once I get home, I'll get my fill of the news before I go to sleep.

Let's plays are fantastic for watching the cutscenes and gameplay of games that you have yet play (which is a majority for me, as I have only played Dream Drop Distance) and for watching other players for tips on speedrunning, finding hard-to-find locations, and beating various bosses and other challenges on critical.

I had heard of the game series for some time (don't remember where), but my first real entrance into the series was with the 3DS demo for Dream Drop Distance. Having enjoyed the demo, I bought the game some time later and soon got me interested in the series as a whole.

11 days now. I never thought it would be this close. Just about a week and a half to go! The hype is growing for sure.

When KH UX what first announced for NA, it was not announced for anywhere else other than Japan and the Americas, presumably because they were still testing the servers in other regions or testing in those regions hadn't started. However, around the time that they were releasing the game in Japan, when SE announced rating information in Australia, which presumably reflected that they had made progress on testing for servers of other regions like Oceania/Australia, that begs the question why SE originally said all regions outside of NA and Japan are to TBA with regards to release regions. And the answer is, if I remember correctly, that SE tried to localize the PC version on Chi over to the rest of the world, but there were some kind of server issues, so that is why we have KH: UX. So, it was due to the Japanese browser version's server issues when being tested for a cancelled port out to an international release that I believe that the Australian version's announcement was delayed until they were confident that server was going to be live and only Japan and NA was going to get it. Now, I believe that, yes, there's always a chance, but I believe that until there are reports to the contrary, the 2013 browser version of KH Chi will stay a Japan-exclusive title not because there isn't demand, but because of server issues.

1:00 PM to 2:30 PM and again 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM (for those reading in international time that's 13:00 to 14:30 and 16:00 to 17:30). Both times have the same content. That's Japan time, by the way.

As far as expectations go it is important to remember that the game still has over a year (or maybe even over two years) to go. Still I think that we can expect, one, maybe two world reveals for KH3. My predictions of in order of likelihood are Frozen, Treasure Planet, and Wreck-it-Ralph. As everyone here knows, we will (probably) get another KH3 trailer. I'm leaning towards thinking that it will be a story trailer (as the last major trailer was a gameplay one and we know little to nothing of KH3's story). Since it's a bit early for anything beyond a release window (which there is a fair chance that we might get). As for KH 2.8 and Unchained Chi, we will probably get more information on those two games, likely with a trailer for both. Even if we don't get a trailer specific to those two games, we will probably have some kind of news, like an international release date from Unchained Chi (but the latter could be a long shot, given that the game is already out in Japan and it is an event located in Japan, by the way, but you never know). Another thing I am curious about is what kind of collector's editions for KH 2.8 are on the way, but if the release of 2.5 is any indicator, that won't be announced until 4 or 5 months before the release of the game. So I doubt that a 2.8 CE would be announced this year and probably not until after the release date has been announced. And as much as I would like everything to be public, it looks like it will be private, as the event's site's rules already state that you can't film or record in certain areas or bring in certain devices used to record. So it looks like it will be anywhere from a day to two weeks after the event before the trailer goes public.

I got my copy back in July for $50 when I got my PS4. I would have to admit that I've really enjoyed it for not having played it on the PS2 or PS3 and I have a feeling that I'm just about at the end of X. Out of curiosity, is there a difference between the standard and limited editions other than the box art?

I was referring to the period since the Tokyo Game Show ended. But I know what you mean that we've gotten more news than in 2014. I guess since e3 of this year I was getting accustomed to almost weekly (or sometimes daily) news updates. I know, November 3rd is only a month from this Saturday.

I've noticed that despite the KH 2.8 news blowout, Kingdom Hearts news in general is a bit dry out here. I guess it's the calm before the storm of Japan D23.

Since BBS 0.2 will be happening after BBS's secret ending, that just means another question: Will it start before or after Aqua's meeting with Ansem the Wise ten years after the game's ending?

I've been wondering about it as well. My guess is they'll either remove the part referring to the remixes or maybe rework the secret message into something relating to the next Kingdom Hearts 3 announcement (this is just speculation and I doubt they'd do the latter, but who knows).

I would assume that 2.8 will be part of the D23 KH event's lineup (along with Unchained Chi), but the big focus is obviously going to be on KH3.

I know, I know, I can get a bit impatient sometimes. I'm actually just as interested to see what they have at TGS now that 2.8 is on their roster as I am for D23, but the TGS news is certainly turning into a nice appetizer.

And the KH 2.8 news keeps coming! Unfortunately, there always seems like there are more questions than answers.

BBS 0.2, largely partly because I want to get a taste of the gameplay in KH3, but mostly because I want to see how Aqua's story connect to KH3 (assuming it does).

No, BBS 0.2 Episode will be unlocked from the start. We won't need to beat one game to unlock another.

What kind of unlocks/secrets do you expect will be in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Prologue? To use Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix as a guide, where there were two movies as a guide that provided hints toward the plot in the series, namely Kingdom Hearts DDD HD and Kingdom Hearts 3, I would expect KH 2.8 to do something similar. As for Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, the original game had quite a few unlocks, if I remember correctly. In addition to the in-game theater and glossary, there was something called "Chronicles" that contained text summaries of the plots of every Kingdom Hearts game prior to it (all 6 since Chi hadn't been released at the time) that unlocked rather early on in the game after you cleared a couple of worlds. Another unlock in DDD was once you beat the game you could find a secret message in the game's credits that hinted towards the 1.5 and 2.5 HD Remixes being in development. I'm a bit curious at to whether the Chronicles (and in what form) and the secret message will make it into 2.8 and what other unlocks and secrets await. I might also end with a question of whether we should expect a secret ending in Birth by Sleep Episode 0.2.

Even though I'm glad that DDD will now have a PS4 version, I now have a few questions. 1. Will there be new content (new keyblades, secret bosses, areas, etc.) like the other final mixes? 2. Will there be remastered tracks? 3. Will there be a digital/ PS Store version of this game or will it only have a physical version? 4. What about multiplayer, as the original 3DS version did have a limited multiplayer mode? But even if it is just an HD port (as opposed to a true remaster) with a cinematic collection from Kingdom Hearts Chi and BBS Vol. 2, I'm very much looking forward to it.

My guess is Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 is Square Enix's secret title that they will show on Saturday, so we'll probably have more information by the end of the show.

Do you think that Square Enix's secret title at TGS next week is the new Mana title?

It's kind of 50/50 as far of chances go, but Japan D23 does seem to be more like the place for a big Kingdom Hearts reveal than TGS is. Still, odds are that we'll get something more Kingdom Hearts related than just a KH Unchained Key video or news at TGS. Either way, I'm not betting too much money in either direction at this point.

While we're mostly in the dark about Kingdom Hearts 2.9 right now (assuming it's really a thing), and assuming that it includes or is a remix/remaster of Dream Drop Distance, will we be getting a digital version of the PS4 version (since all PS4 games have digital versions)? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard that part of the reason why we haven't gotten the 1.5 and 2.5 HD Remixes on to the PS4 is because Square Enix doesn't (or didn't ) have the licences to use Utadu's music on the downloadable versions of it's games, only the physical versions. For those who didn't know, in the current 3DS version, "Sanctuary, After the Battle," plays during the credits, as well as "Simple And Clean" plays in the opening. What I'm asking is whether those would be legal issues that would affect the digital version being released or maybe even the entire PS4 version being released altogether.

Just yesterday I was wondering if we were going to get a PS4 Kingdom Hearts game before KH3 and then Bam! we get a KH 2.9 leak.
