I wonder, then, if March 2017 could be a realistic date. It looks like they've gotten a a decent amount so far with what they've shown us, especially considering they've already had to switch engines. But even if production speed doubles, that only leaves about 5 months of faster production, since they probably want to have a final version ready about a month before release. Basically, the rest of development, as of now, would realistically only have 11 months, if, in fact, Nomura is aiming for a March 2017 date. Still, beyond what's been shown thus far, we don't know the true progress that's been made, so maybe there's still hope for an anniversary release.
