I really, really like the idea that everything is born from sleep, and that someone losing some form of their existence (be it by having their heart separated from their body, having their body stolen, ending up on the Realm of Darkness, outright losing their body) doesn't necessarily mean they are gone for good. It's a different way to deal with death than most series, and I genuinely enjoy it. Besides that, there is also the idea that as long as the person wants it, no one is beyond redemption. Both Riku and Ansem the Wise were able to recognize their mistakes and rise above them - and now both are crucial to restoring the people who are hurting. In the story itself, KH has been subverting expectations since KH1 (Kairi's inside me?) and while I think it goes too far for the sake of a twist sometimes, I love a lot of what has been done.

- DDD saying everything Xemnas and Ansem SoD did was about Xehanort when there was never any indication of that, it felt unnecessary - BBS treating its characters badly and inconsistently for the sake of making the story work, instead of doing something that wasn't cheap - Forgetting that Kairi is in theory the female lead and using literally every other character more than her - Chi/Unchained using the exact same worlds over again, with pretty much the exact same story. CoM and coded were enough

Port Royal in KH2. Dislike the movie, hate the world. Also Snow White world in BBS, the other world usually have at least one highlight but this one was. Bad. And fighting the Mirror twice was annoying.

Of course. The fact Xehanort needs 7 Lights doesn't mean only seven people can fight. Go on a fight against 13 people without bringing more backup when there are allies available is ridiculous, and the good guys don't even want to be Lights, they just have to be or Xehanort will go after the Princesses of Heart. Actually, there's no way to know for sure if Donald and Goofy aren't Lights. No one ever said all the Lights needed to be Keyblade wielders, Mickey just assumed that. And you know what they say about assuming.

Port Royal. Those movies are boring and KH2 managed to make the story even more lifeless. I have no interest on seeing that place again, especially with how weird the characters looked next to SDG.

I usually played Atlantica with the sound off (the singing went too loud for some reason and that annoyed me), so I'm not too sure about how I'd feel about the songs. But I'm really not a fan of the BBS Neverland theme. There's just something about it that never catches my ear right. I guess I always liked the Days Neverland theme a lot so the BBS one just... feels so BAD in comparison.

Samurai's my favorite. Though I'd also really love Sniper, and I have a soft spot for Creeper and Dusk (especially Creeper). Besides those I don't really care either way.

Well, sure, but while my only serious KH ship is Sora/Riku/Kairi, I crackship Xion/Naminé and they met once. I don't need that much to get behind a ship. It's just that RokuNami is the most popular Naminé ship (and the second most popular Roxas one, after Roxas/Axel), and I just can't see it. At all. I just don't think they would be a good ship even if they did interact more.

One ship that I genuinely can't get into is RokuNami (not sure WHY, I just... really dislike it). I hate that I can almost never find platonic content between them in fic since they are my top two favorite KH characters

This looks awesome, thank you!! I have believed Halloween Town!Roxas would be a Scarecrow since Jack made one based on him during Days. And only canon HT outfit for Roxas would convince me otherwise.

If Ven wasn't pure light, his heart would probably have been swallowed by darkness when Sora's was, but it stayed inside Sora's body. That means it's very unlikely he's not pure light. Plus it went inside of Sora, and helped Sora in DDD, looking exactly like the Princesses' hearts, while normal hearts that aren't pure light look different when they are purified by the Keyblade (and as such are probably different all the time), so it's probably stil pure light.

Inside Young Xehanort, apparently. Ven was trying to destroy him, I really don't think Ven would have allowed him to go inside his heart, Vanitas doesn't have a physical form, so I think he was just hanging around mostly destroyed and then YX collected him (Vanitas has golden eyes so he's probably part-Xehanort, meaning he is connected to Xehanort and as such could go inside him like he could go inside Ven).

Not really. Sora defeated enemies incredibly powerful soon after he started, with no formal training. She wouldn't be powerful enough to take on most Seekers by herself, but she should be able to fight one of the weakest ones.

Ohh, can you draw scarecrow Roxas? It's Halloween month, after all.

Sora's off with Donald and Goofy to search for the other Guardians of Light and the Key to Return Hearts. Riku and Mickey are searching for previous Keyblade wielders (whatever that means). DDD's secret ending seems to imply Kairi will be trained by Yen Sid. But what about Lea? One would think he was going to be trained as well, but there wasn't any real indication of that. As soon as he got his Keyblade he went off to see the Apprentices in Radiant Garden. And now he knows what happened to Isa and Braig. So the Apprentices should be aware of what was supposed to happen to them as well. I figure it's impossible to give the Apprentices a real redemption arc, but Xehanort still messed with them, and since Ansem the Wise is, as far as everyone besides him and Aqua knows, dead, someone needs to decipher the data Ansem left behind. Maybe even a way to make up for what they did to him. It would be interesting if Lea became sort of a in-between with the good guys and the Apprentices, especially since he himself should want the data totally uncovered, as it holds the final key to bringing back those lost. And that would fit since Lea is supposed to be involved in saving Roxas and Xion. Be a way to have Lea interact with Ienzo and Even after what he did to them, and if Xehanort and the others became aware that the Apprentices allied with Sora and the others, Lea may end up protecting them. What do you guys think he might do during the game?

That's really nice! Jedi Order symbol as the keychain was a great touch, especially with the Rebellion symbol as part of the chain. Great mix of both Prequel/Original eras there. Feels very representative of SW as a whole.

I mean, he's already aware that Roxas and Xion are tecnically the same person (or he will be, when he remembers her), he found out the truth about Xion before she did. And Ven is hardly one of Lea's best friends, they met once.

Twilight is used for something brief in the series, like Roxas' "his light is as bright and brief as the setting sun" description, so 1.5 is things seemingly becoming better at the end of KH1, but actually just going from bad to worse, so it goes from twilight to night - and 2.5 shows that worst, with BBS being the lowest point for the main heroes, so it's just night. Now, Sora's main job is healing the pain of those connected to him, 2.8 being the one to set the stage for it and going from night to daybreak. And in KHIII, he will save them all, and they will together bring the end of Xehanort, so yeah it will likely only have daylight.

Sure they will, they're both going to be in the same side, so there's no way they won't see each other again. If they will remember each other is harder to say. Assuming Ven hasn't experienced anything since he started sleeping, something that happened 11 years before would still feel like a few weeks before for him, so it's likely he may remember. Lea... didn't seem to remember him in Days, or at least what he looked like, as he didn't remark anything on Roxas' appearance in his reports. Be funny if the guy who told Ven to remember him because he wanted to live forever in people's memories doesn't remember the one he said it to. But, I mean, it's not like Axel/Lea not remembering someone is anything new lol.

Terra is definitely the biggest question mark right now. Everyone else is accounted for, both in and out of universe. Mickey knows where Aqua is and is telling Riku and Kairi, Mickey and Yen Sid suspected Ven's heart was inside of Sora and Riku can confirm it for them while Aqua knows where Ven's body is and when she gets saved they will likely have figured out how to get Ven's heart out of Sora without harming him. Riku saw Roxas and Xion inside of Sora as well, and if Roxas is still a separate being inside of Sora, Naminé is a separate being inside of Kairi. And Riku describing Xion as 'a black haired girl that looked like Kairi' is enough to know that she is one of the people that need to be saved, because Mickey saw her as well alongside Data-Sora. But no one but Aqua knows that Terra was possessed by Xehanort, Mickey may figure out MX was talking about Terra when he said 'another on your list', but that doesn't mean figuring out exactly that the Xehanort he met, the one that made Ansem SOD and Xemnas, was actually Terra's body. And when Aqua is around to tell him this, it still doesn't explain the state of Terra's body NOW, if he's a separate being from MX, or if MX is still using Terra's body, but just using his own image instead. So it's likely they won't figure out how to save him until the last possible second.

Couple months ago, I think? I was into KH when I was younger, but didn't interact with any online community on it, but I ended up getting back into it this year, so I lurked here for a few months and then finally made an account.

Favorite's either Naminé or Roxas, I just like their stories and personalities a lot. Least favorite, definitely Master Xehanort. I find him a bad and inconsistent villain and deeply resent that he is the main bad guy despite only being introduced so late into the series. Otherwise I like pretty much everyone, to differing levels.

Ven was burned into Xigbar's mind, sure, but here are all the people Xigbar/Braig has actually fought: Terra, Aqua, sort of Roxas, Xion, Sora (plus Donald and Goofy, of course). Ven just glared at him and Braig made a comment about it once.
