In regards to other playable characters in a main title. I guess it's more of a matter who we'll get to play. Not how much, in a main title. In KH2 we briefly controlled Riku. In KH2 we got to also control Riku, Mickey, Aqua, Roxas and Kairi for some battles. In KH4, so far, it's confirmed we'll have playable Mickey in Scala and playable Donald and Goofy in Hercules. Kind of seems like we're getting more playable characters (besides Sora) in longer segments compared to the last main title. Since in kh4 it does look like we'll not only fight but be exploring worlds with other characters. Which is interesting. Of course Sora will be the main playable character. But I'm expecting Riku to be included. Kairi too at this point. Question I guess we'll find out later is if anyone else will be playable? 🤔

But mushroom number 5 and 10 require a specific technique of mashing the square button while moving forward in final form called buffering to beat

Most of them are no different than their regular playthrough requirements
