Please list all the theories that you believed about a specific KH game BEFORE it was released.

 

KH2: 

I believed that the nobodies were white heartless and were the non existant counterpart mention in the secret ansem reports in Final Mix. I also believed that they were the true puppet masters of Ansem SOD. I also (correctly) thought that the blonde kid(Roxas) was Sora's non existant counterpart, that the red haired guy(Axel) was Riku's non-existant, that the red-skinned man(DIZ) was Ansem's non-existant and that Kairi was Ansem's daughter(because she was a princess and Ansem was the king of Hollow Bastion). 

 

KH 358/2 days:

I believed that the game would show Roxas's birth and that Xion was Aqua's nobody

 

KH BBS:

I believed MX's apprentice was named Chasers and that Ven was Sora's father, Aqua was Riku's mother. Both Ven, Aqua, and Chasers died in the final battle while Terra, Master Xehanort, and Eraqus clashed and there was no victor. Ansem the wise later finds them later haveing lost their memories, except for Terra who remembers the name Xehanort, and takes them in. Later Xehanort discovers that he's really Terra but Braig and Dilan don't remember who they are. That's right I believed the theory that Xigbar was MX and Xaldin was Eraqus.

 

For Coded and DDD I didn't really care about those games until they came out to come up with any theories about them.

I thought the Kingdom Hearts series was just a super light-hearted story about pretty 3D animu characters going on a magical Disney adventure.... *insert topic title*

 

Way back when I first saw the KH2 secret ending, I thought that Birth By Sleep was going to take place in a post-apocalyptic period about 100 years after the end of KH2 where most of the worlds were in ruins.The bald guy was the mastermind behind the destruction and it was up to the three soldiers to save the last of their world before it was gone for good. And the keyblades were supposed to represent the legacy of the fallen heroes Sora, Riku, and ...Mickey? I didn't know who the third keyblade belonged to and I still don't know. Sora, Riku, and ? died at that same place their keyblades were, and the three soldiers were their rebirths/reincarnation, which is why I thought it was called Birth by Sleep, since according to Disney, death = sleep/coma. I couldn't have been further from the truth lol

 

I also thought Aqua was a dude until I saw the BBS opening. Then again I was young so I wasn't really "looking", I just assumed

-When I heard BBS was taking place before KH1 I thought we'd see every organization members' past and how they turned into nobodies and I though they'd all be boss fights.

 

-When I saw the secret ending of KH2 I though BBS would take place thousands of years before KH1,I though Vanitas was a ghost or something because he just came out of nowhere,I though the keyblade war would have been in BBS,I though Ventus turning into ice would have been a much bigger problem,I didn't expect him to overheat himself and melt the ice and I though Terra's yellow eyes meant that he turned berserk just like Saix.

 

-I though Chain of Memories' story didn't matter,that it was some kind of spinoff taking place before KH1 and KH2

-Thought that BBS would be continuin the storry and 3 people we see are actually just reincarnations of Roxas Riku and Kairi.

 

-Before 358 I thought we'd be seeing Xion and how she knew Roxas and did things behind the scenes during the events of KH2

 

-i thought Re:Coded would be important to plot nuff said

 

-I thought DDD would have us seeing Roxas and Ventus's memories and dreams. And on Riku's end reveal that a piece of Terra is inside him.

that Coded was going to be about Sora's father.

 

that was really the only rumor i heard. i know there was a rumor that the KH2FM secret ending showed the future, and Sora, Riku and Mickey were dead/gone because their keyblades were shoved into the ground and were dirty looking. 

 

or that Terra was an older Sora.

 

lol i remember watching one theory video suggesting Terra was actually Xemnas. then i played BBS and started to realize that the video was right and i had spoiled myself. 

Granted, this is before I had the internet, but I thought the end of CoM was the END end: I figured Days was the series rebooting, and Sora was dead or something, and Days was Roxas being put into his role. Then I finished Days, and got KH II... my little theory got blown out of the water. 

I thought KH2's secret ending was a Halo/Kingdom Hearts crossover.

I thought Days was just a simple mission-based game that was simple. That's the nice way to put it.

I thought Ven was Roxas.

I love how they call the Red Guy Ansem they were so right and wrong

I thought the guy that got frozen in the KH2 secret movie was Sora (or as my family thought, killed)
