We all knew it was coming, we just needed to know when! The first one was amazing, I hope this one is just as good. Also, the main character better not be John's son, I hate that guy. A new cast or a tie into the old cast seems perfect.

I really really doubt that. They haven't released anything since 2013, and that's probably because they are content with GTA online atm. If RDR2 goes the same way I wouldn't expect GTA6 atleast until 2020.

There were 4 years between GTA San Andreas and GTA 4, and 5 years between GTA 4 and GTA 5. 7 years between GTA 5 and GTA 6? I doubt it.

Btw, I could be wrong - this *could* be speculation, but it looks like it'll be a prequel to the original featuring Dutch's original gang, since I'm seeing both Marston and Bill in there.

You overestimate them. For one, games have gotten a lot more expensive, and harder to make. I'm sure they'd be content with making this, milking it's online, and then slowly developing GTA6 afterwards

It has been said that Rockstar does have a few games in the works throughout their many studios for a couple of years now, so I could definitely see another GTA being released by 2020. Though there are a couple of other Rockstar Franchises like LA Noire, Max Payne, and possibly even Bully that Take-Two and Rockstar have displayed interest in. So it may or may not be a while until there's another GTA game. I think we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Yeah I thought exactly the same. The one dude looks so much like Marston. It would be super cool to see Marston in his gang days. Plus I just really love John Marston. He's such a great character.

I'd fully recommend Red Dead Redemption. It's a tad different from GTA in the sense that it carries a more serious story though with some infused wackyness that you would expect from Rockstar. If anything it's worth it solely for just the main story if that's your jam. It's extremely good.

I am so happy. After playing the first one, I really wanted Rockstar to announce a sequel as soon as they could. And now it is finally here. Can't wait!  Looks like 2017 is gonna be an amazing year filled with hype.

Also...they HAVE to do an alien invasion DLC for this one.  Undead Nightmare was beyond perfection, and they have to continue the trend.

I actually shouted when it got announced. R*, the bosses of open-world games are back. I just hope they announce RDRedemption Remastered this Thursday, and I will be good to go

Probably my favorite thing out of Rockstar besides L.A noire and GTA4

I played Red Dead Revolver waaay back on ps2, it was my first M-rated game. I looooved Red Dead Redemption although I haven't finihsed it or Undead Nightmare due to xbox 360 problems in the past. But now I've got them both via Xbox One's backwards compatability! CANT WAIT FOR THIS!
