October 28, 20168 yr Sora of course... his skill set is much more versatile, AND he's faster. His magic is pretty much the only thing that's weaker.
October 28, 20168 yr It's a toss up for me. On one hand, Sora has a lot of natural talent and power as a Keyblade wielder that's he's built upon all the while being self taught but he's got a nasty problem of having all of his skills, power, and experience being wiped away which forces him to start from scratch over and over and it's only recently that he's had any official training and he's only now learning new moves. Conversely, while Aqua doesn't have Sora's raw talent, she's been officially trained for years and has been using things like Shotlock and the Command Deck much longer than Sora has, not to mention she's been blasting her way through the Realm of Darkness for ten years straight with a Keyblade that isn't even her own. If these two were to fight, I honestly think it could go either way.
October 28, 20168 yr Let's see here, the wielder who was trapped in the darkness for 10 years and had a huge problem slaying a single shadow(no seriously in BBS Final Mix they take some serious punishment) or the wielder who defeated thousands of those and saved the universe twice Yyyyeah it's obviously Sora

Sora may have beaten one thousand in one day but how many do you think attacked Aqua non stop for ten years straight? The closest Sora's ever come to fighting Heartless in the Realm Of Darkness are when he fought the ones in The World That Never Was.

The end of the world in KH1 is the closest place to the Realm of Darkness
October 28, 20168 yr The end of the world in KH1 is the closest place to the Realm of Darkness Fair enough, that slipped my mind.
October 28, 20168 yr Well, hasn't really been mentioned but Aqua never really left the Land of Departue prior to her becoming a Master and she only trained with Ventus and Terra. Sora visited way more world than she did and fought way more enemies than she did. Also time in the RoD isn't the same, so for her it definitely wasn't 10 years. Sora's MoM exam was way harder than hers and he didn't even become a Master. Also if we're going to with "every little thing is canon and everyone believes that's true until Nomura says otherwise" then Sora did technically defeat The Lingering Will.

True, she hadn't left until then, all she did was train with the same three people (including Eraqus), and that her Mark Of Mastery exam was really lame, but it must have all been very effective because she still handled all those Unversed and Heartless more or less easily. And yes, time moves differently in the Realm of Darkness but who else can say they've survived non stop assault by Heartless (especially from the scary big ones like the Darkhide) while in the place that the Heartless draw power from and without a way of leaving if they need a break from it? October 29, 20168 yr We the player are more powerful than either characters Because we take control of both Sora and Aqua. Its hard to gauge who is more powerful but if I had to choose it would be Aqua. Only because KH3D has shown Sora to be less impressive when his friends aren't around for him. While with Aqua even after losing Ven and Terra she (while alone) still retains an iron-steel determination (plus she hasn't fallen to darkness yet whereas Sora has).
October 29, 20168 yr I DONT KNOW WHO TO PICK!!!!! On one hand there is Sora who is the main protagonist and saw a lot of shit go down in his life while harbouring like three to four souls/hearts in his body and still being able to smile though they were crushing his spirit and then there is fricken Aqua who survived in the RoD for about 10 years without being tainted/fall back into darkness though she witnessed all her friends pretty much die (ok I know they didn't die but without Aqua Ventus is pretty much dead and Terra is still possessed). AHHHH!!!!!! I honestly cannot decide... Maybe they are both matched in mental strength whilst Sora is stronger in physical strength.
October 29, 20168 yr This is definitely a difficult debate, as both wielders possess immense power, and both have faced insurmountable odds! It's really hard to choose who I think could end up more powerful! If we're going with the flow of Kingdom Hearts III's story, we'll probably see Sora become powerful enough to surpass Xehanort, therefore being the most powerful Keyblade Wielder to ever live! But then we have Aqua, who's gained much power as well, and is a force to be reckoned with! Honestly, I really can't choose! X3
October 30, 20168 yr Aqua Right?I mean she IS a Keyblade Master. Keyblade Master is really just a title not really indicative of power level. Sora because he's main character
November 4, 20168 yr I'm sure that they would both be pretty well matched in strength, but Sora will be the stronger one by one or two points. They would make a super badass duo though

November 4, 20168 yr With the crazy amount of abilities Sora is shown to do in KH3,it's hard for me to choose anyone but him.
November 5, 20168 yr Thanks Bill! No problem, kiddo! And well, it's gonna be interesting seeing if Aqua or Sora will end up becoming stronger! Whatever the case, whoever ends up being the strongest, I'll make sure to take over their bodies and have a few more powers to add to my arsenal! This will be very good! *Rubs hands maniacally.*
November 5, 20168 yr I'd say Aqua at the beginning of the game because she must have been one tough cookie to get through the Realm of Darkness and she's a master, has Master Eraqus' keyblade...I think Sora will surpass her though, I think he has too much power to discover right now and I admit Aqua does too but Sora is a train man, do you see what he can do?!

November 5, 20168 yr More than likely Sora because he has main character plot armor. Though storywise, they may put Aqua above him. That wouldn't prevent an endgame Level 100 Sora totally thrashing her in a sparring match though.
November 5, 20168 yr I think Aqua. Aqua got actual training under Eraqus, Terra struck down Eraqus, and Aqua was better than Terra (IMO), so that means Aqua was better than Eraqus who in my opinion is stronger than Sora. So yes, Aqua
who will be portrayed as more powerful In KH3, in your opinion?
