Who should join the Light: Demyx

 

The only one that has chances of joining the Light: Saïx (after his fight with Lea, probably when he's dying)

I mean if I had to pick any of them, I guess I'd pick Demyx. He never really seemed like that bad of a guy to me, though I guess he's not an easy guy to read, being a spineless slacker one second then a stone cold fighter the next. But I always figured him as one of the more sincere members of the Organization, along with Luxord. No mind games usually, just has a very straightforward personality. I don't know if he would necessarily work as an active protagonist or ally, but at the very least he seems like he would be the least antagonistic character to return. At the very least he would be cheering the good guys on or wouldn't be helping the Organization anymore. Plus, he seems to be a pretty popular character among Org fans, so it wouldn't hurt I guess.

One of the ones we don't know who their original persona is. Out of them, Luxord seems like he'd have an interesting backstory.

I'd say Saix just because of the listed members whose backstories we actually know about, he seems like the only one who wasn't an awful person before becoming a Nobody.

Honestly, none of them! I prefer them to stay on the cool side of things! Cuz being evil is where it's at, humans! B)

 

But in all seriousness though, I don't think any of the black hoodies will join the light! The ones who aren't part of Baldinort's crew anymore will probably just be relegated to the sidelines anyway, and they'll probably try to help Sora and the others take on Baldinort and his band of merry Darkinorts!

It doesn't matter what the question is lol.  Everyone who votes will regardless see it as "Who's your favorite Organization member!?"

Mmm, personality wise I think Demyx would be the likeliest to switch to the light.  He was never really bad to begin with, and always acted cheerful and carefree.

 

Storywise, I'd say that Saix is the likeliest, since it seems like he was forced to join Xehanort.  And, while he was a jerk, he really did truly want a heart, so he's not completely evil either.  And of course, I can easily see him sacrifice himself to save Lea after a major fight and stuff.  So yeah, that's why I went with him.

 

Also, aren't Zexion, Vexen, Xaldin, and Lexeaus already back to being good(?), since they're back to normal?

I feel like the Apprentices are probably not evil anymore, at least as far as Ienzo and Aeleus go. Hard to say with Even and Dilan when they are unstable or whatever.

 

Of the ones still evil, Saix being redeemed is likely gonna happen with Lea's help. Should be interesting, considering how much of a... Disaster that guy is.

Demyx he'd add some comic relief from the dark story (I assume it will be dark) of KH3

Demyx! Especially because in the novels and manga it shows him as pretty much a nice guy. He even seems to have a decent relationship with Roxas and he is probably Roxas only other friend in the organization aside from Axel and Xion and you can even see it in 358/2 Days (or more like read it in the talk sprites). I mean come on was this guy really a villain or a bad guy?!
