I really want to get a ps4 and since I don't have a job yet, this is how I plan on getting a ps4: If I sell ALL of my 3ds and wii u games and ps3, I'll finally be able to get a ps4. I need your opinions on this guys. Is it worth it? I'll try my best to listen. also, keep in mind that I have a friend that lets me borrow his games for a while. Also most of the games I like on the ps3 have either got ported to the ps4 or going to be ported to the system.

It depends on your taste. What games do you want to play on PS4?

Personally I wouldn't do it. Just try to save money somehow. The ps4 isn't that expensive  anymore.

If you had the money then I would've said go for it but selling aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall your systems and games just for one console you haven't tried before is too risky regardless if it's "worth it" or not

So I'd say no don't sell your systems and games for a single console.I suggest that you save your money for a Ps4 slim instead or borrow a friend's Ps4

I wouldn't do it because I like to go back and replay my old games(I still have my N64 I had 15 years ago),but if you're done playing your Wii U,3DS and PS3 games and you intend to get many games for your PS4 they go for it,the PS4 has a lot of great games(not for me personally :) )

But of course the best course of action would be for you get a job(if you're old enough),its not easy but if you put effort into it you could get a job.

Definitely not worth it. Try in one way or another to save money. If you wish, you can give up your PS3 considering most of your favourite games will be on PS4, but I believe you should keep your 3DS and Wii U.

I don't think it would be worth selling all of your consoles just for a PS4.  Think about all of the games you would be unable to replay that you really enjoy, and how much money was already invested into all of those games.  It would be a very uneven trade.  There's also distinct differences between Playstation and Nintendo, and I just doubt it would feel satisfactory to sell all Nintendo items and solely rely on Sony (even if the PS4 has some awesome titles--it's still quite limited).  There may also be more games coming out for the 3DS that you would be interested in, so there's that to consider.  I could potentially see you selling your PS3 for the PS4 IF you won't miss any games on it, but personally I'd say hold off until you acquire the money through other means.  I could see the deal of trading in all consoles for a PS4 to be gratifying at first, but I can only imagine regret later down the road because that is a lot to lose only for one console.

I didn't say I was going to sell all my consoles, I said I was going to sell the physical games I have on the wii u and 3ds and sell the ps3. When I think about it more, doing the latter doesn't make much sense, so I'll deeply consider not to sell them.

If you don't mind i want to say is i completely agreed with everything you said and sooner or later you'll might regret selling your games & game systems to just to get a PS4 because sooner or later down the line if you want to play your favorite games on 3DS you'll won't be able to because you sold everything and in the future i don't know when but you'll regret it because some games you can never find either cheap or for sale since it can be so rare and in the future they might be sold out everywhere both in public and online and you can't find out anywhere if you regret saleing your favorite games.

& if you want to buy any of your favorite games again &/or any of your favorite systems again i could be wrong but however it can happen and sooner later it also can happen that you regret saleing your collection you can ask for a PS4 for your birthday, for Christmas or for Easter or something like that & who knows you'll might get it & if you don't mind i like to say a quote by 1 of my friends on youtube.

He says unquote good graphics don't make good games unquote and if any of you want to know his youtube channel is homestar92 & my youtube channel is thecrown871

If you don't mind i also want to say is i got mine last year for Christmas from my mom and I'm still waiting for FFXV for PS4 from my mom & before you asked me yes I've gotten a FFXV T-shirt for Christmas last year

Well, I have a PS4, and I believe it's a fantastic system with great games, but whether or not you should sell all your games to get this system is up to you. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't sell my games, because I'm rather sentimental with all the games I have, ya know? In the end, the choice is yours, though. I will say that the Playstation 4 is worth it, and as you said, many previous gen games have been ported to the PS4! :3

yikes. a ps4 isn't worth that kind of sacrifice unless you know for sure you'll never want/need to touch those games again.

the only time i trade in a game is if i can confidently state i'll never play it.

otherwise, i say wait until you get a job and save up the money. don't worry, the ps4 will still be around by then.

unlike that wii u, amiright folks yuk yuk yuk
