I think it is the same year it is realesed. bbs in the 90's. And kingdom hearts 2 in the late 2000's. Cause Roxas even had a t.v.

I agree, Since the first game was released in 2002, we should go by that timeline, i.e:

 

BBS: 1992 (by birth year yay!)

KH1: 2002

KH2: 2003

 

I don't think it'd be wise to bring some worlds into this, i mean look at the difference between land of dragons and Radiant Garden

Check the clothes like Kairi's or Squall's.I think probably like 2010?Maybe when the games were made.

KH is an alternate universe to our own. Time has no relevance.

I guess I'l reiterate. The Kingdom Hearst franchise is about going to a bunch of worlds.You can't make a single year to encompass every world. Deep Space is highly futuristic. The Land of Dragons takes place in ancient China. Twilight Town seems somewhat like our time. Hollow Bastion is pretty technologically advanced.

If you're going by the universes age, you should all be saying billions of years.
