If you could make your own game, what type of game would it be?

I would aim for either a real-time strategy game or a 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate) strategy game, one which hopefully would contest with some of the greatest out there.  Sadly my programming and coding skills are pitiful to make it a video game, but the thirty pages of planning I put into it isn't just for show and could be a good board game with a bit of arts and crafts!

 

This is a fun question.  Good on you for proposing it!

Something along the lines of a House of the Dead successor, kind of like Vampire Night.

For me, at least, if I were to create a game, I would most definitely venture into the field of RPG's! It's my favorite genre in gaming, because with RPG's, you get to be able to use your imagination to your fullest extent, and you get to create bountiful, lush and in depth worlds that have layers upon layers to them, with beautiful locales, harrowing dangers and curious characters to encounter along the way! In all my years of gaming, I can say that I've had the most fun with RPG's, and getting to create a game in that genre would be greatly pleasing and very stimulating for my creative impulses! If anything, I'd most probably be the director/writer of the RPG in question, and I'd propose the ideas on what gameplay systems to implement and what tone to go for and whatnot.

 

It's an awesome thing to think about, ya know?

It would probably be a platformer or a an Action-Adventure game with RPG elements like Zelda

Perhaps a Visual Novel or Strategy game, like Fire Emblem.

Man I will so make an RPG video game with a mixture between Action-Adventure and Visual Novel. Yeah that will be my game!

I'd really want to direct a new life-simulator like The Sims. The series was a great idea, but has really lost its edge due to being developed by a greedy company. I would totally like some competition.
