Because his body wasn’t destroyed, but he still has the yellow eyes.

I don't think he has a piece of him now, but even if he does I don't think it's going to matter now

So Xehanort wouldn’t have died unless he was the only one left

And yeah they’re not exclusively a Nort thing, more just a darkness thing. However, Braig didn’t get those traits until he encountered MX in BBS

True. ? I wonder if it was a detail that was forgotten by Nomura or something else. Cuz like. The thing about that that’s interesting. Is in an interview for BBS, Nomura points that part out and tells us that something was different about him, but never really says what that something was.

I always figured Braig got Norted just as a contingency plan in case something happened to him, like becoming an amnesiac Terranort for instance. However, I guess that is more up to interpretation.

Also it’s my headcanon that half the reason for Xehanort’s seemingly unlimited foresight and confidence is because of the Master of Master’s meddling. Basically, convincing Young Xehanort that no matter what he would succeed.

I mean his death quote in the data battles is “This is not what was written.”

Did MoM show him a botched Book of Prophecies where he won? I doubt it but it’s interesting to think about.

MoM seems to wrap everyone around his finger by introducing trust and building them up

From the character files, Luxu mentions that it was planned for him to meet with the foretellers after everything went down.
He shouldn’t know anything o.O yet he somehow knows more than Xehanort did.

Yeah. MoM letting everyone do his work as “his future “ comes to play. He might even see himself betraying Xigbar once times comes.
