True. Her actual combat experience was pretty much nonexistent at that point. Tbh, I'm more mad at the moment where Terranort is attacking and Sora gets the bright idea to shield Kairi with his body. Sora and Kairi, y'all are adorable and I love you, but both of you have keyblades.

Everyone seemed to go full dumb in that scene except D and G

Donald and Goofy were the only competent ones in that scene. It all but killed what was supposed to be a tear jerking and intense scene

The saving grace was Sora and Riku's VA's performances

I can respect her for having the lady balls to go hand to hand with Ansem SOD without a Keyblade. As for not using magic, maybe she can only use offensive spells with a Keyblade? I don't know, I know it's been shown that magic users don't need a weapon to cast certain spells, but I'm not sure to what extent that applies for Aqua
