I wonder if you’ll unlock keyblades like normal but they’ll just be upgraded to whatever point your previous save was at or if you just get all the keyblades at the beginning

Inb4 ppl will complain that new game + is unbalanced when it's actually supposed to be unbalanced seasalt_shinji

The level 1 critical mode for that game is horribly dull

KHDDD I mean

Crit in ddd was in general awful

Like its not fun, you have to rely on dream eaters to buff your attacks to do any damage, and the bosses can one shot you without second chance and once more, even the first boss

DDD sytem as a WHOLE was not fun

Like flow motion was a good idea, but it was ridiculously abusable as a movement ability

I hope now that osaka has xP we will never see the dumb command deck and horrible designed bosses again

dont get your hopes up

my experience with DDD combat consists of me flowmotion jump attack spam

Osaka team wanted the Command deck for KH3 and Nomura said no. So they could have it in the next title

Disney will kick their butts if the next games arent as good as 3

Why do they like the command deck for god sake

is it just because theyre comfortable with it?

Bc it requires no effort

They are likely confortable using it as their system, but its also likely because it makes it easier on them to manage all the KH abilities and stuff, since they dont have to creat sub categories for each ability and they just make them all part of your attacks

also the way you get passive abilities in their games like "combo boost" or "exp boost" are all attatched to the command system

I hope yasue realized during the development of 3 that their command systems and in general their game design of the older games absolutely sucked

Everytime they make a command deck system they come up with some stupid ass way of grinding commands, give you access to unlimited cures by the end game and always create one ability that pretty much trumps the rest. They always make physical combos redundant whenever they add one

I would love to see the KH2 team come back to make a new title for the series

it doesnt have to be KH4 but just any new game would do

I mean considering that that team is working on FF7 remake, whenever it comes out it should be great

I feel so bad for them ff7r is doomed to fail

Bc of the ff7 Community

maybe, but they made KH2, they can make any game awesome

it just wont live up to 7 fans expectations

but to everyone else it should be great

As fun as 3 can be at times, it has that nomura philosophy of flashiness rather than function

I agee, but I also think that is a fault of Osaka team as well

I think thats why he doesnt bring on another team

as they like making abilities in the spin offs ridiculously flashy Ex.(finishers in BBS, team attacks in DDD, the longer attack commands like faith in BBS)

because they also love that kind of gameplay

yeah

basically
