KH2 to me was well written just for the fact that it gave an open ended ending that doesnt make you go "I've got to play the next one to see what happens"

It can go to whatever the afterlife looks like in the KH universe

The Final World is the final step before the afterlife iirc

Like I said earlier, KH3 had an ending too. Whether you liked it or not is up to you, but this is far from the first time KH has had an ending like that, case in point: Birth by Sleep

or else this cast is going to change by the end of it

Oh, KH3 definitely had an ending, I won't dispute that. I would just add that the ending aspect was obfuscated by the great amount of set up for future events, making the feeling of conclusiveness underwhelming for many.

KH1 and Recom make sense to me to have sad endings since Recom has like a future installment 1 year away and KH1 was a bitter sweet ending that told you "yeah sora and the gang are seperated, but there on another adventure"

KH3 just goes "uhhhhhhh you decide wtf just happened, cause I got nothing"

I agree, we can either give them new VA'S, or just use new protagonjsts

timeskip to kh4 has to happen at this point

there has to be an actual ending that just says "okay this cast is done, were moving on"

it will be interesting what the Foretellers will do with the worlds while Sora, Riku and Kairi are gone
