It seems like the additional story will be a retread of the KH3 story, just without Sora present. Their memories of him haven't faded, so they know he's still kicking. But since he isn't present, they have to fight their own battles at the Keyblade Graveyard, but Sora will be supporting them in spirit using the power of waking. Wonder if that means we'll get to see Riku or someone explore the worlds as well.
