The issue with this is that the mobile story is hard to follow since the game feels like a chore to play.

Iirc khx wasn't confirmed to be a canon game until right around the end, around when they announced ux

It was like "haha, have this fun keyblade game, no strings attached" and then it switched to "PSYCHE! It's actually relevant to the main plot!"
