The wording very clearly says "approaching" in the "guise" of an ally.

Ergo, approaching Xehanort, and presenting himself as an ally.

Not taking over someone Xehanort already knew.

Which would be far riskier and more likely for Xehanort to notice.

It's far easier to approach and ally himself and be able to craft the personality and such to his liking, rather than trying to mimic someone who already exists.

Well yeah but it could also be the case that Braig was already like that, and it was just because Luxu had taken over his body his mind had an influence on his personality. There likely is some influence on the personality, at least. Like when Xehanort took over Terra's body, Terranort acted much different than Xehanort, despite it only having been seconds prior that he was in the old body

And then Nomura himself says it's complicated

So it makes me wonder what those fans would then say in response

He even admits it’s hard to keep people up to date with it all which is kinda their fault for never ceasing to put the series on multiple platforms especially concurrently with Ux STILL

I assume he's referring to the staff in that statement

I don't think keeping the staff informed on lore would be too complicated, they have the insider's perspective after all

But it's also funny to consider that Nomura is essentially saying "the plot has gotten so complex that the staff has lost track of it all, so I write the games now because I'm the only one who understands it"

Which is... amusing, to say the least

It’s also odd that he says he basically wrote most of Days but then why does that exist and is so praised and then there’s just.. DDD
