You are overestimating how much of a difference a language can make in that context.

Yes, because in the context of how Kairi was treated. It can't make that big of a difference.

A lot of characters would show more personally if their voices weren't monotone half the time tbh

but like Kairi herself has her character expressed in her keyblades design with the spash of water representing her love for her home on destiny Islands, and the flowers representing her memories of the home she lost and a reminder to light her way through even the darkest times, specifically of the time when she was little and how she would pick flowers from the gardens of Radiant garden. Even the paopu fruit shows her connection to Sora and how the two of them are connected for life.

^^^ Yeah,you deefinitely have a point in her keyblade playing a part in her personality portrayal too

That's actually really neat detailing

Pretty much every KH2 keyblade represented the character who used it

And how the Keyblade resembles a baseball bat when you take away the flowers and vines. It represents that underneath a girlish personality is someone who isn't afraid to fight back

But Kairi dialogue was gets ripped to shreds every time they have an opportunity to make growth

Unfortunately growth is a problem with a majority of the cast

Honetly,looking at the trios....

I would sadly say that Kairi is least developed

Sora is bare minimum

He's still lovable imo

And Riku has made actual character growth

I love Sora

I just think he needs some major growth

But yeah, in terms of dynamic character building, Riku is definitely the best out of the Destiny Trio

WEll,Sora,at least,seems to have develoepd a huge fear of losing his friends,and I don't think we've seen him all that afraid,usually

But that all aside..

Sora is our son, despite his minimal overarching character development

also While I do find the similarities in demyx and MoM interesting, I also dont think its demyx even now because Luxu says he is going to RETURN soon, which means hes not there, AKA its not Demyx
