There have been a few rare good ones

Bleach was pretty good, was able to adapt the manga while doing its own thing. Also added the anime "physics" so it doesn't look that far-fetched or stupid when a fight happens and so on. Actor wasn't that bad either.

And zabimaru was done pretty well too, which surprised me a lot
