you can buy houses even with a trial account but you won't likely have the money to purchase them. The housing plots are limited as well, like in the real world

you have to be really lucky to get one of these housing plots

easiest way to get a room at least is joining a guild that owns a house

because then you get your own room in the house

the fact that pop team epic got an anime still baffles me
