I dont see why they would need her for long term, unless shes just there for Baby Yoda specifically to escort.
Though with whats going around with the Darksaber showing up again shes probably there for that with Sabine.

Though this is just a me thing but having Ahsoka be a long term character would overshadow Mando and the rest

with darksaber and the mando creed/different mandos

considering how season 1 explained theres like more than 2 sets of mandos factions with different creeds

the baby yoda thing i doubt ansoka would be there for that arc
