I got a second Anti-Aqua and used the three trait medals I had left over to get great traits.

I still have trait medals left for KH III Roxas in case I pull him again.

Ill answer these to the best of my ability: 1) yes, nova is completly useless in most modes, dont use it unless you want to try it as a last resort.
2) no dont bother leveling medals before fusing them. Just make sure if the medal doesnt have guilt bonus yet to combine them at 6 star level to fill the guilt nodes. Make sure you fuse them one at a time to get the maximum number of traits
3) use super novas that increase guilt bonus for a full turn after your buffing medals. And use the ones soley for damage at the end

His attacks are judgment from ff6 and he casts high levek magic spells.

Some of the heartless designs in khux are amazing

Others are...... not so much. The money bag enemies are pretty terrible designs

Story Mode has been revamped w/ 0 Ap cost and there is a fast forward mode to speed things up. The rewards offered have also been improved and there are less filler Quests now.

Some can even be skipped; although, there are certain ones that net jewels.

As for Mysterious Sir, if his appearance and judgement attack didn't give away that he had connections to FF VI, "Dancing Mad" playing should've indicated that he is based on Kefka.

@Kazin Whitewind (Ryan) couple hours late, but i'll supplement arthur's answers to your questions
1. nova is useless for damage (outside of doing about 100,000 damage in pvp). however, it can be used in strategies as a way to attack the enemy without using a medal. typically reserved for strategies that involve lowering an enemy's counters
2. like arthur said, you don't need to level them up. an update to the game allowed for activating traits on a medal using any medal of the same type. for example, a 5-star version of donald a could be used to activate a trait on a 7-star donald a, no leveling or evolving required. activating the special attack bonus (aka "guilt") will require both medals to be the same level, though (both would need to be 6-star, in this case)
3. supernovas should be treated as additional attacks along with your medals. their damage is affected by buffs on your character as well as debuffs on the enemy. like arthur said, you'll want to try and use supernovas that give high guilt boosts early in your turn, since they last for the entire turn.
also, be careful of supernovas like kh3 kairi a and supernova - hd xion: they give you full buffs, but only for 2 attacks. if you use those ones, they'll overwrite every other buff you've gained and leave you weaker afterwards (which is why you want to use them either before you apply your buffs or before your last medal)

For Kairi and Xion's SN, I use them before the first Special followed by another SN since the effects will disappear. In some cases, I put another medal in the first slot to gain the effect from the SN and follow it w/ a buffer.

You'd definitely noticed the difficulty scaling as you progress through Proud Mode since there are restrictions against friend medals, for certain objectives, and which medals' Specials you can use. Later on, they became linked objectives that required players to clear together. It's possible to progress past them even if you can't get particular objectives, though. Skip Ticket+s are also options.

I'd say to make sure you get events that are ending soon and clear w/e Boards you can while they are still there. There are also Avatar Board deals that are ending soon to be replaced by newer ones.

Especially the Sun Medal events, those help a long way with certain Keyblades.

When you pull for Ava and get Gula

they'll almost definitely have some login jewels. it's just a thing. hopefully in the ballpark of 10k
