> The answer is not to remove the ability to pay to win, only to add the ability to pay for your result.
That is still paying to win no matter how you paint it.
> As I said, the answer is not to remove pay to win, and they didn’t make it more pay to win, they added choice.
Not much of a choice when too much content is locked behind paying just to unlock features that don't have as many limits as they should. This Keyblade War Event has become a paywall and medals are too limited in circulation; especially when they bombard us w/ banners that keep overlapping the others and have much poorer rates than other gachas, including Brave Exvius, which is from the same developer, but the publisher known as Bitgroove dictated much of those mechanisms and got carried away.
> With that in mind, would you rather have a subscription model? Pay $9.99 for the game and then $3.99 a month or something? Because in a game that is not a static release and requires continual updates and investment for content, that is the only other option?
The price they do have is more than that and only lasts for a week w/ the monthly cost package costing a great deal more. Much of the time, those don't seem like enough and people feel like they need to dish out more or are still stuck.
> Countries across the world are debating laws, my own included that prohibit mobile games like this from selling currency that allows benefit through chance only, rather than guaranteed result.
Another issue: The mechanisms in this game have been regarded as gamble prone. There were some people and a friend of mine that had to retract b/c of how badly it fed their gambling problems w/ the rates and low payout for what they put in as well as how addicting it was w/o much limits on shilling out. Belgium banned it b/c of their laws against loot boxes.
That doesn't mean they didn't add fixes to optimize how the game ran. Those took a while and that is separate.

Considering this game is supposed to be the bridge to the next game, the main scenario updates are going to have to fill out blanks left by KH3 that clearly redirected to this game precariously. There's also the identity mystery around Demyx and Luxord, but it seems that content updates are supposed to go beyond that, so hopefully, more updates are released at a time to close the gap just a bit more in conjunction w/ JP if medals and Events follow.

KHUx should’ve been a paid game with no micro-transactions. Or at least a subscription based game. The way it currently is ruined the game for me and many people

The fact that many players took sabbaticals from the game is a sign that there were issues; problematic and concerning enough that there had to be incentives put in place for returning players along w/ solutions that were far too temporary. Those making too many excuses seem to be ignorant to the fact that issues w/ the business model were still prevalent. And there were problems that those of us that stuck around, dealt w/, and observed that people that didn't do so have perspective on that occurred, leaving them to miss out on having experience on first-person accounts for that timeframes.

I’ve been playing since the game came out and never spent a cent on it, but it’s really hard to play like this.

Even paying a bit of VIP doesn't seem like enough to keep up.

That’s the issue, the game should be paid.

Maybe you could get new medals the same way you got new cards in CoM

These options and banners don't last long enough.

I still wonder when they are going make up for the issue about the Dalmatians that were supposed to be farmable that they mentioned before getting rid of the Proud+ Quests.

There's a storage deal, btw.

My current storage capacity is up to 1k.

I stand by what i said before

Quests for free to get new medals

That would make the game

1) rewarding

2) reason to come back

3) ability to grow with the game

With the limkted ways to get jewels, one must vow to stop pulling for months, fall behind, and then catch up once they saved

Even "subscribing" to the weekly jewel box indeed doesn't feel enough often

I think my suggestion is a simple fix that could make things better

The jewel event now is a good start but often the medals aren't that great

Yeah
EA doesn't stack.

Or what about how the rates for metals advertised in the banner have the same chances of pulling as every other metal in the banner

Of course my internet is bad when Im trying to get evidence

You'd think that the advertised medals would be slightly easier to get on their banners

Also any good strats for dark chirithy?

despite having a power reflect, you can still use kh3 kairi a/xion as a buffer, as long as you put them on non-matching slots (so speed or magic slots) and make sure that neither of them have ground -60 traits. doing it that way, you'll still get hit with reflected damage, but it'll only be 1 hp
