i mean

stuff is always added lol

the only game i can think ends 100% conclusively is kh2, but even then they have a tease in the epilogue

also the talk about them wondering if their data self also exist made me wonder if they aren't just that, their own data version, while their real selves are dead or something

If that's the case, I called it

Also

how on earth is ephemer gonna give the masters defender to erequs

Plot Twist:

Ephemer just throws Master Defender into the last pod

master's defender is subject x

i love them so much.....

I’m happy that player is still an important character ??

Though I’m worried for Brain now that

it’s most likely he gets the No Name. ?

My theory assumes the reader is up to date with Union X. Here I go: I think Kairi is a pure light like Ventus. I think that may be one of the reasons she did not pass on her power. I reckon light is an entity that is an aggregate sentience which chose certain people to become its scions throughout many eras - either after the Keyblade War of the Master of Master's boyhood, the one in the age of fairy tales or even farther back.

Isn't Kingdom Hearts the Light ?

|| ....so much to think about...

My initial thought- that made me super sad- was that Brain ultimately must've lived his full life and failed to get them back because it's all but confirmed he is Eraqus ancestor.

But he must've been able to get his KB back in order for Eraqus to have it right?
So did they end up sending Ephemer back with the one remaining pod? But then what would've happened to him? Did he somehow die in the KB graveyard when he got back leaving his ghost or whatever to help sora in 3?
Did he give it to Skuld and send her with it, where she became X and making the KB back in the realm of light thus enabling Brain to summon it again so he could pass it on?

That took so many turns I never expected I am so excited for the next chapter! ||

yeah i think ||something will happen that will require them sending the last pod out to save one of them, that person being Skuld. As it's happening in the heat of the moment, Ephemer will give her the blade and tell her to return it to Brain since he knows he won't be making it out.

I also agree about the idea that Brain never finds a way to save them which will be extremely sad. Though I think it'll set it up in a way that he leaves his remaining research at Scala, and our generation will be stumbling upon them in the next game and trying to rescue those who remain||

||am I the only one who thinks that Elrena showing up at the last minute was kinda dumb?

Also, I feel like marluxia and Larxene are gonna go back to their somebody form and help the main crew eventually||

well at least she has a reason, and a pretty important one

Yeah she did but still it just kinda felt like "oh, she's here now and she's getting sent away now"

I guess I think they could have done it a bit more gracefully

It did feel a bit forced especially because it took them days to finally tell them.
I feel maybe a scene of her seeing this herself then saying, "We gotta find Lauriam!" And she starts looking for him would've helped connect that a bit better but eh, it's good enough
