Depending on when the article was posted within that 3-minute timespan, it can take everything from a couple of seconds to 3 whole minutes for the article to show up there.

That's a very interesting detail.

The bot sharing the article seems superior in the sense that it actually embeds a summary better and a proper preview/thumbnail.

I created it to be as effective as possible without causing unnecessary load on the server.
