What Clayton thought when he saw a giant talking dog and duck in the middle of the jungle

In fact, why isn't this addressed more?

This teenage boy is traveling and fighting these monsters, his only supervision are these giant talking animals that walk like people, and no one seems to mind or question it

This gets even more glaring in semi realistic worlds like Port Royal

Maybe they see human versions of Goofy and Donald? Or don't really notice? In House of Mouse they had a mouse for a host so XD 

Or they just accept that there's a talking dog and duck next to a teenager and it's totally okay? XD
