Do you think this Re:MIND will focus more on the villains since it’s also about Xion? Hopefully, it will also explore more of MX’s origins since it didn’t seem fair that we only got a smidgen of it in the game we got.

i think the focus will be on xion and we wont really get much story for anyone else

Malificent and pete are still out there so i guess so

Hopefully it holds a bunch of things. Xion's recreation, Lingering Will's disappearance, Vexen and Saix's behind the scenes plans, how they control the Replicas and make them, How the transferred Roxas's body to KG...did I forget anything? Maybe it's wishful thinking to want all of those in one thing but that's what i hope for.

I'm kinda hoping it focuses on Marluxia,Demyx,Larxene, and Luxord and how they're connected to Union X, as Marluxia goes down, he says that he's on the cusp of regaining his identity. An episode on Xion would be awesome too, focusing on the behind the scenes plots fabricated by Saix and Vexen to help Ansem the Wise escape and providing Ienzo with a replica. But above all else, I hope the secret episodes hints as to who Lea and Isa saw in Radiant Garden's dungeons, Ava? Skuld? Strelitizia? or somebody we don't even know about yet. For a game that was supposed to bring about a conclusion, it's mind blowing just how much could still be explained.

Considering it will be related to Xion, Axels voice actor hinting about it and the proof of promises and times past matching up with Oathkeeper and Oblivion,

I think Re:MIND will be a playable Roxas DLC that takes place after the events of KH3, possibly helping Axel track down the girl who Luxubar abducted

I don't know. The way is written "Re:MIND" is just like the remakes of old games; like "Re: Coded" and others. Either way, "Remind" also means "remember", so it can involve several plots.

+ Ventus remembering his "past life" from Union X. I mean, it's difficult to me to believe that Ephemer manifested himself to Sora, but not to his old friend Ventus. This is what I believe it's the most probable scenario.
+ Xion remembering her "past life" with Roxas and Axel. I know this will be shown, but to me, this is more like a "minor plot" of something bigger. I would like to see a cutscene where we could see Xion's heart coming out of Sora and entering into her Replica's body.
+ Axel/Lea and Isa/Saix remembering when they meet the mysterious girl who was used on Ansem's experiments.

I don't think so...totally-not-Skuld is bait for the next saga.

remind is just the project name not the name of the dlc

Nomura responding to a question about Xion's return by saying he will expand upon it in the DLC doesn't indicate she will be the central focus.  I think it's more likely we'll be getting the final mix treatment.  Limit Cut" sounds like it might mean Director's Cut, which would be additional scenes throughout the main story to flesh out the plot a bit more.

We need more backstory on Scala, Xehanort, Eraqus, and their Master more than anything imo.  Seeing as it is the end of Xehanort's arc, and everyone else's subplots can be explained in future games.  This is it for Xehanort's story.
