Anyone know if the without items condition excludes xp/item drop rate items, or is it just health restoration?

Pretty sure it's the former

Despite the condition being a certain amount of health left, and those not healing you at all.

that, and some others like "play on Standard" not letting you play on a higher difficulty to unlock are some of the weridest decisions

Wow the castle oblivion songs do not work well for this though.

You know. I wonder if strength influences the chance to stun multi hit enemies.

It's be an indirect damage reducer for when you make mistakes, sort of. Would make some sense.

Ah, found it. It does.

"If your strength is high enough, you can stun enemies that must be attacked multiple times. You will not take damage from stunned enemies even if you miss."

I did notice some multi hit enemies being stunned and found that weird

The characters fight and move on their own with their performance based on how well you do with the timing and such.
