i mean it was a thing before the switch

it's such a niche thing, too. like, remote play (as far as i'm aware) requires you to be within a certain proximity of your console. so realistically, this sort of thing is only worthwhile if your tv is unavailable for some reason. you can't even take it on the go like you can with the switch or like you could with the psp/vita

Actually, remote play works anywhere with an internet connection. You just have to have a GOOD connection if you want to avoid lag.

really? so do you have to initiate the remote play from next to your console beforehand, or can you start while you're out and about as long as the console was on before you left?
