That's what has me a little confused. Like, are they saying there's no Easter eggs or nostalgia at all, or just that it's not shoved in your face like it has been in other series (I'm assuming, since I never felt like anything was shoved in my face)

I imagine they’re listing it in contrast to the other Star Wars series which were all full of cameos and references.

This one’s more focused on just being its’ own story it appears

andor should be taking place at the same time as rebels timeframe wise so the ghost crew were speculated to show up but since there wont be cameos from the ghost crew i aint watching andor

The only cameos I could see in Andor are other Rogue One characters, and maybe a brief appearance from or reference to Cal Kestis from Fallen Order

We definitely need more Cal Kestis.
