tbh i've played all that ff15 has to offer now (besides episode ardyn)

and i must say

I am pleasantly surprised

it is a major improvement on what it was at launch

did it take time to get all that dlc out to fix the problem, yes, but did they do alot to fill that void that was missing and even add some features i didn't expect, yes

I played it like a month before royal edition came out so I didn't really have those problems. But I'm surprised to see the differences in how Noctis attains his abilities between XV and VsXIII

And after playing Type-0 I've been thinking about Type-Next for a while

how was he supposed to gain them in vs 13

People who saw Etro's Gate and lived in VsXIII got powers from it. So he essentially got a near death experience.

in the original story interestingly enough, the weapons were not supposed to be from the kings of yore, but the knights of the round, legendary heroes from their past
