I'm currently playing Halo with friends and I really don't get the hype around it

I mean, the characters are blank, the story is uninteresting, it's just a random shooter

The only good thing is the OST

And, at least in Reach (I just played Reach and CE so far), that firetruckin' mechanic where you lose your weapons when you die

It's a nightmare

It's so anti-fun

And firetruckin' hell, no real places to pop after death

Nooo you have to wait your friends go somewhere without enemies

Making the process slow and boring

So yeah, I seriously don't get the love for this franchise
