Not to ruin the mood there but "Updated on 2022-03-04" just means it was renewed for another year. That costs like $12 and is done automatically a month or two before expiry unless you go out of your way to cancel it.

Which they sure as hell ain't gonna do because then anyone could register it and they risk losing it forever. Regardless of whether they plan on making another game or not.

I have like a dozen dormant domains that I just let renew every year even though I have no plans to use them again.

It's like if Square Enix stopped making Final Fantasy games, the domain finalfantasy.com would still be owned by them 40 years from now. Because to them the cost is a grain of sand in a sandbox.
