And that's Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2 wrapped up. I'd say it was definitely better than Part 1. However, at the same time, I feel like the characters were way to whiny in this part. All they did most of the time was whine, whine, whine, and then whine some more. They whined so much they might as well have ate some cheese to go with their whine. 😐 Still a great season though.

there's an awful lot they'd have to change about the source material to make it marketable in today's pop culture sphere, and then they risk alienating any of the older fans who want the original stuff

that reminds me. superman and lois has been pretty much entirely disconnected from the preexisting cw universe aside from using the same actors for clark and lois (and a handful of others, probably). there hasn't even been a mention of supergirl, despite hoechlin's superman debuting in supergirl. maybe that was all intentional on hbo's part so that they could snatch their shows up when this whole cw thing inevitably happened?
