I hope it's not a remaster. The remakes are retelling all of FF7 stuff so a remaster would be really weird to do when they already showed off Zach's end

 

 

And a complete CC remake would be an odd choice too, it's not going to move the main story forward but only develop Zack and a little bit of Aerith. You can achieve the same thing in the main game than a complete standalone

the only reason i figured kamran was a plant of some sort was because he's apparently a villain (or enemy of some sort) in the comics. it's like "oh, you like this movie too? twinsies!" a little too coincidental, tbh. though i had assumed he was a plant for the damage control guys. also, they really slipped that line in about the fbi already monitoring mosques. like, damn, that was slick!
