During the final Sakurai Presents for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Masahiro Sakurai revealed that the title's final DLC character is Sora from Kingdom Hearts!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the fifth instalment in the popular crossover fighting game series featuring various Nintendo and other third-party characters.

Previously, on Twitter, former Kingdom Hearts series executive producer Shinji Hashimoto expressed his interest in Sora joining the Super Smash Bros. series in a playable capacity, but he later deleted the tweet.

I will never respect Chri Thorndike, he almost doomed 2 universes just to be with Sonic

Also as an adult with a fiancée and a extremely successful career, this guy abandoned all that just to go and be with sonic again

The process of traveling to Sonics world also turned him back to his 12 year old self, so now we have a 22 year old Chris Thorndike being a kid again

Also the ending is left so obscure in sonic X

When Chris goes back to his world, they don’t know if he will re age or even make it back to the same time he left

But he’s okay because he got to meet sonic again

Like after 2 it's 2 weeks before DDD

Speaking of weird time stuff, I still find it weird that the journal entries in DDD say BBS happens more than a dozen years ago, implying that riku and sora were like, 3

It was prolly just supposed to say more than a decade ago but that somehow got lost in translation I guess

Yeah that would line up perfectly as we know they’re supposed to be 4 and 5 there because bbs is said to be 10 years back

But if a game that takes place 1 year after kh1 says it was 12+ years ago then they’d be 3 and 4 by that weird logic lol

I used to HATE his design and preferred his KH1 look when I was younger.

But it's grown on me over the years
