Zack starts off as a run of the mill protagonist like many other, happy go lucky guy who wants to be a hero

Cloud pre-Nibelheim is similar but his starting point as a protagonist comes after all that which makes it pretty compelling

Same, not to say Cloud was a terrible protagonist, I just thought Zack had a much more interesting background than Cloud, yes both are similar in their beginnings, I just thought how his story was presented was bit more interesting than the run of the mill takedown both an evil mega corporation and preventing and stopping a shadow villian from bringing the apocalypse that was in the base story of 7, not to trash and stomp on the 7 storyline ofcourse

I think Cloud's lack of "interesting" background was a major plus for his character; that was the point

He was a nobody that wanted to be a hero, just like that

Plus I like that Cloud was low-key a subversion of the stock RPG hero dude.

Cocky, arrogant, full of himself, and cool.

But in reality he's a broken sad boi- that's relatable

No I get that, that's fine not to say he is a bad protagonist, I just think I enjoyed Zack's story alittle bit more is what I'm trying to say
Personality wise, I have no problem with Cloud, he is what he is meant to be the total opposite of Zack and it's a perfect contrast.

If anything that's what I appreciate about FF7R, they didn't change Cloud's character to be Zack 2.0, but was faithful to his original version both in personality and portrayal

"you never know who you'll run into next"

Well now that alone is why I'm pretty sure some people will think the KH series is solely a crossover adventure, in all honesty I don't blame them.

So

Assuming KH4 will focus on fictional worlds

Do you think we’ll get movies where they travel to diff demensions

Like Enchanted

in a good way or in a bad way?

I'm pretty hype for KH4 in general; the series has always tried new things but 4 feels so different than the other games already.

i know what you mean

If your still concerned about what Nomura said, don't worry he did say he will still add FF characters in another recent interview for 4👍

why would that be a concern?

Well it's just one of many

in my case i dont so much have concerns so much as i find it hard to get excited for a game thats a very long way off. and as such i can understand not being sure how to feel about it at this point

I feel the same way. We know so little about KH4 that It’s difficult for me to get excited just yet. I’m not calling it bad, but I’d like to see at least a few more trailers.

100 percent on this myself, we only had a reveal, not everything in its entirety
