so this game uses gps tracking to play it?

Not cool

I mean it’s cool

But I use an iPad

Soooooo

you don't have a phone at all?

Just get a cover that's goofy's shield and you'll fit right in.

its not exactly the best phone and it kinda runs badly with 3D apps

Oof, disappointing. I had a similar issue back when pokemon go first came out

From the information that has been leaked/shown. Does anyone know what map data they are utilizing?

I assuming since Square also has DQ Walk it's whatever that app is using, however with this being global I wonder if they are relying on openstreetmaps or some other type of API?

Interesting, thanks 👍

why isn't Missing Link out yettttt

I want to do raid bosses and make friends

also I need an excuse to go outsides

also I need an excuse to go outside

Since living in the UK, I walk a few miles a day. Just would be nice to get loot for those miles walked.

Probably won't be out by the time I leave (Late July), even though I think they are planning internally for a summer launch.

I can’t believe Missing Link is going to make me go outside.

Catch me beating up Heartless atop Lassen Peak.

Nothing wrong with playing the KH mobile game on tablets instead of a phone. When I was playing Union X and Dark Road I played them on my tablet mainly because it gave me a bigger screen to play on (and for most of its run I hadn't gotten a smart phone yet and wasn't sure how I could or IF I could transfer everything I ahd done on the game so far to my smart phone XD); in my opinion a phone screen's a bit too small for the card and medal system XD

Again, as long as you get this as a case for your ipad it's acceptable.

Make sure you duck your head and charge to kill extra heartless
Knights_Shield.png

That’s a fine way to void your AppleCare warranty

am hoping it becomes VR compatible

nothing like walking outside with your VR goggles going for a jog and swinging at heartless

Neighbor: Im not a heartless
Me: Lies, your trying to deceive me. begone heartless!

I do think we'll get true ARpgs eventually, but Apple has to make their headset first. Nothing will happen until they have a pilot project to shill. Probably pokemon go add-on

Fiction keeps making the concept of virtual/augmented reality less and less appealing imo

I'm a big advocate for AR in the professional field, just the right applications haven't been made yet.

In a few years we really should have the computer vision know-how for teaching and assisting for some trade skills. Plumbing, HVAC, Electrician, etc.

I think AR games are cool but further off then the productivity tools that it provides.

I mean VR had the same issues. At first it was just a toy and something for games. But nowadays it’s also used for other purposes like bed ridden kids being allowed to travel in their own way
