pvp is the main cash generator for these games, anything with a leaderboard will attract whales

pvp doesnt attract me

im the whale who just cares about solo content mostly

i'll do pvp/guild stuff, but its not a focus

they have opportunity to do some really nice grindy aspects which arent just simply $ to be top players

pvp can be nice. if it's something you can get rewards from that aren't necessary and also pvp as a daily activity isn't a requirement, then things are fine. otherwise you just settle for "i'm just gonna phone it in and get the worst rewards except maybe i'll try once or twice"

Maybe disney said that they want to promote the game in a Disney event since they get a part from the income. Thats why it took so long to start the pre registration
