Does anyone think the fighting style is annoying. Me and my friend hate it even though the story line was good.

I loved it. <3

I personally loved it. It was fun, new, challenging and exicitig. 3rd best fighting style in KH.

I disliked it. Aqua made us play with cards lol

how can you guys love it? Dont u think it would have been better if the fighting style was like KH and KH2?

CoM's fighting style was unique, challenging and great fun and required strategy to advance from battle to battle unlike the other games (excluding BBS) which only have hack-and-slash battles meaning you only pound on the X button and heal yourself. You never really "need" to use attack magic and drive forms and such. It also made Sora much more powerful than he was in Kh1 and his attacks were nearly on par with Terra, Ventus and Aqua.

I agree it was annoying especially having to constantly reload cards.

It was fun, new and different and challenging. It may be my least favorite when it comes to the different KH battle system, but it's still cool and enjoyable.

DO you think it's annoying because you suck?not trying to be mean just asking but i sucked at it i just went level up and raped everything that got in my way and riku's story..............freaking destoryed alot of stuff

i love the battle style it was tricky but fun

it was just hard to play

ha ha, I confess, yes, that is the reason why I disliked it. I might have used slights 8 times in the whole game.

Its just the fighting style that I hate. If it was like kh or kh2 I would play it everyday from now till the end of the world because of the heartless

I too found it annoying, but once you get good cards it becomes more fun. I am kinda glad they made it that was though because it really went well with the story line.

^ I 2nd this. 8)

I wuv the COM fighting system its was great fun

Personally i found the battle mechanics in Chain of memories fun so much starategy had to be used

i loved the battle style it was fun strategic and exiciting i hated at first but when i got really good at it it was really fun

I didn't like it. Normal enemies required more strategy than the boss fights. All you needed for almost every boss in the game was a deck filled with Sonic Blade and some healing/potion cards. I beat Vexen, Larxene, Repliku, Axel, and Marluxia with my Sonic Blade deck. Normal enemies were hard, and it was too challenging. Some challenge can be good, but when it prevents you from having fun, then that is bad. The card system was a good idea, but didn't really work out. The only thing I disliked more than the battling was the exploration part, I hated farming for specific number and color cards. I would not play this game again.

Personally, I fail to see how anyone could enjoy this battle system. The only time I can every actually say I was having fun was during Riku's story. If it weren't for the story, I wouldn't have bothered finishing Re:CoM.

You guy's are missing the whole point of it. The COM battle system inspired all of the new batlle systems we have now like the command deck. So you can't say it was completley useless.

I loved the Chain of Memories battle style, and a lot of the different sleights you could use. It's true that the normal bosses were way harder than the Organization members (ie Ursula...took me a few tries...) and the final battle against Marluxia was pretty easy. But I did hate using cards at first :P

I beat the game on both sora's and riku's storys and hated it the only thing that kept me playing it was the story

I never played CoM but it is the same as re, so I somewhat liked it, but when you stay with no cards, it really sucks.

I loved the gameplay. It fixed the people who said that it was all just a hack and slash button mashing. It also weeded out the noobs that said 'omg the card system is stoopid it doesn't work'. Turns out they just aren't good at it.
