Hello guys. I've sent this first part of the story to some members here, and they liked it a lot. So, I thought it'd be better to share it with everyone. Hope you like it

 

 

 

A Frightful Prevision

 

At a night, of May 29th of the year 2049, to be exact, something strange happened. But, before discovering what occurred, it’s better to know what had been happening in some time before that day. In the next lines, you will be able to read and put your imagination to work -- or at least give it a try -- in order to understand everything that this story has to tell.

 

-> March 11th <-

 

Today was an excellent day. Why? Because I got a promotion, and the rumors of some kind of “threat” coming to earth have been almost completely destroyed.. But, there are still some people who believe that we may be in risk of facing the last days of our lives -- of the humanity.

 

There were already many people who predicted a lot of things like that, but in the end, we are still here and alive, after all. Yet again, it’s still too early to say that this prediction is completely impossible to happen... Even I, who was instructed to calm the people, and tell them not to panic, still have doubts if this is really only a false rumor, or if it’ll really happen... But I pray that it doesn’t happen.

 

However, you might be interested in knowing what that prevision has to say.. But I think it’s still to early for me to tell it.. After all, what IS supposed to happen is only in some months, so I’ll tell about it in the near future. At least I managed to accomplish my duty; the people seems to be more calm now. We just need to carry on with our normal lives, that’s it. No need to worry.

It has already passed some days since I last wrote in this diary. I can’t believe I am really enjoying this -- although it was an idea of my own daughter. But, returning to the main subject, there are more and more people supporting that prediction.. My duty has become very hard, even though people do respect me. When I’m not around, many of them begin to talk about it. I have been busy during this time I was off.. Me and the other politics -- we need to make sure that the people are not attracted by that idea -- but what if, we ourselves are?

 

I am not saying I believe in it, but I can’t tell the contrary as well.. Something just tells me this is not really wrong at all. But, who knows? It might be only my imagination. Maybe I’m just getting old. With almost fifty years, it’s hard to face what I face everyday. Well, let’s stop talking about my personal life... My main goal with this is to find out more about the rumors...

 

So, as I’ve said before, many people continue to fight for these ideas... And look, we haven’t fought since 1927... And, with our own people.. Where will this world end? Can’t people have different opinions without respecting the others? Maybe this is really the end of this race -- which was once a pure and good race, in which people treated the others well, and not only worried about their interests, the money -- its name? Humanity.

 

But, if we think properly, this wouldn’t be a bad end at all.. You might be calling me a crazy or something like that, but see: We’ve killed thousands of animals, and don’t come with the argument: “we need to eat”, because in those thousands, many were only killed because men have their own interests.. They want to make new things, and don’t care with what or who they have to cross down to achieve their goals. With time, the humans have been more and more selfish.

 

I remember.. In thirty years ago, we weren’t so bad as we are today. We had water, but what have we done with it? We spent it without caring about the consequences.. And who is going to pay for that? We. It can be sooner or later, but we will end paying for what we’ve done. Nowadays, it’s very rare to find the old and good water. With the new technology, and since we don’t have the food we used to, we have to eat some strange things made by these scientists.. But I can’t badmouth them, can I? Because, if it weren’t for them, we might have met our end sooner.. In 2040, 91.56% of the entire rain forests of the world were completely destroyed, and with it, many species of animals, our natural resources... But I ask: Is this really good enough? We have to get rid of the forests to get more technology? Really?

 

My answer to this question is this : No, we shouldn’t have done that. But who am I to say this to the entire humanity? I would end up being killed by the owners of the factories and others.. But, while our great technology doesn’t build a Time Machine, we have to hang on. Do you know how we live today? Thanks to the Factories and their gases that have destroyed our Ozone Layer, we were forced to build new houses.. Ones with Oxygen. Why? Because it’s very rare to find some nowadays. The rays of the sun have turned the temperature to 58.5Cº, which makes it almost impossible to hold on that temperature for more than twenty minutes.

 

Ahhh.. If only I could go back to 2012 or 2014, when our world was so amazingly good to live.. But I can’t blame it, because it was our fault -- we were the ones who didn’t listen to what was right in front of us -- The terrible future we were creating. Those amazing campaigns for the reforestation.. Nowadays, it doesn’t exist anymore. The Humanity is too busy to think about protecting the less than 10% we still have.

 

Oh.. It’s late. 11:59p.m. I need to go sleep now. Might come back and write more in this diary in a week or so. Who knows? Maybe more and more people will continue to support that prevision. Bye for now.

 

->April 12th <-

 

I guess I haven’t had much time to write here. More than one week, eh? But don’t worry, I have a good reason for that. Nowadays, our population is around 5,000,000,000 of people. Why am I informing this, you ask? Because between this incredibly big number, 1,000,000,000 of people have just began to support the prevision! My duty has become more and more difficult with time. So, I have to spend most of the time doing it. I’m getting tired of it.

 

Besides that, do you know what’s the worst? The day of the prevision is coming. It’s in a bit more than one month. As time passes, I’m getting more and more frightened. I know nothing will happen, but still... What if this time, the prevision is right? Well, you might be curious to know what the prevision says. However, I’m afraid I don’t have a proper definition , since it’s strange, because there are subgroups. Some say that it foresees the end of the World, others say that it’s the end of our Planet, that the world is going to be rebuilt, that some other species are going to invade the Earth... That’s why it’s so hard to block its advance, since it has many currents.

 

Although the politicians don’t seem to believe in that, I’ve been told that they’re making some new vehicles, which are capable of flying without oil, and that can use its lasers to destroy anything. What they do not know is that, even I am building a new escape route, for myself and my family. But I can’t talk about it now. However, I am praying that I don’t need to eventually use it in the future.

 

Wait! What? My friends -- the other politics responsible for maintaining the peace between the people -- have just warned me that the leader of the prevision has been spotted! I’m sorry, but I need to go right now. If we kill him, we may have a chance to stop the rumors right from the source! I’ll try to report the results of the battle as soon as possible. Final Battle

Part 1

 

It was finally the time to end everything. At 2:00p.m, the first soldiers began to pass through the borders of Drak’s country, and were filmed by his hidden cameras. Zarcy was the first General to cross enter in the country. She wanted to end it as quick as possible. With her 2,000 soldiers, and her weapon, a very long pike, which she called “The Immortal Dragon”, she began to approach the city, near Drak’s palace.

 

Meanwhile, Poeh began to march to that same city, and stop Zarcy’s advance. He had 3,250 soldiers with him, and two swords, which he called “Dragon’s Soul”. Inside the war, this was going to be the first big battle. Das began to advance towards the palace, but from another direction. She wielded a big sword, which she called “God’s Power”. Like Zarcy, she was accompanied by 2,000 soldiers. To block her advance, Eirwd began to march to the west, which was the direction where she was coming from.

 

The other Generals, however, decided not to attack so soon. They prefed to make plans, instead of just attacking without thinking first. Drak’s condition was just terrible. He could barely speak, and so Thinog was in the Door of Drak’s room, protecting it from anyone who try to invade and kill him.

 

Zarcy and Poeh finally arrived in the city, and so Zarcy was surprised by Poeh’s strategy; he had planned a fire attack, and used it at her soldiers. From the 2,000 she had, now she was with only 25% of it. Even though everything seemed to be against her, she was stubborn. She would never just retreat and have regrets. One of her best quality was her courage, but at the same, that courage was what had already put her in many difficult situations before.

She screamed “Coward, Coward” to Poeh, who did not reply with words, but began to run with his soldiers towards her. The battle time had just begun.

 

“Do not let the enemy win. Although we’re outnumbered, we need to get out of this situation!,” said Zarcy.

Her soldiers gained much courage after hearing this, but even then, from the 25%, after less than one hour of battle, only 6% of her soldiers were still alive. And from the 3,250, which were Poeh’s soldiers, 59% were still standing. Zarcy had killed over 200 soldiers, but also got hurt by a small knife, which hit her right leg.

 

Poeh had killed over 120 soldiers, and was so far, not hit by anything. Zarcy appeared to be tired now, and so Poeh asked if she had give up, but she replied that she would never do something like that. She would prefer to die fighting than give up and betray those put their trust on her. It was because of that way of thinking, that, after killing 409 soldiers, she was killed by twenty arrows, in the moment when her soldiers had all been killed by Poeh’s troops. The first General from Drak’s enemies had now been defeat. Altough Poeh had now only 1,500 soldiers, the number of Generals between Drak and the Enemy was now equal; 3 X 3.

A message came from a soldier that saw Zarcy being killed by Poeh’s soliders reached the other Generals, and now, her husband, Omeyn felt like a big piece of his heart had been just taken away. It was so rare to see him crying. But this time, he cried like a baby. He loved his wife so much, but now she was gone. And, since she was so stubborn, he did not even have the time to say Goodbye.

 

But he would not just let her die without getting revenge. After crying a lot in his room, he cleaned his face, and gave an order to his soldiers: “We will move out to attack Poeh! He will pay for killing our beloved Zarcy! Whoever brings his head to me will get a promotion, and a lot of money! Zarcy’s spirit will live forever in the Heavens, and though her body will perish, she will be immortal in our memories. There was not a single person so brave like her! Even me, her own husband, am not so brave like her! She is the pride of our army, and will always be! Prepare to march! We’ll make them pay for taking her out of our reality! I desire to kill the archers who attacked her with my own hands! I will torture them until they ask nicely for me to kill them! Now we move!,”.

Final Battle

Part 2

 

Zarcy’s death caused a big lost of moral for Drak’s enemies. Although the number of Generals was now equal, it was clear that Drak had -- even thought it was small -- advantage. But, again, no one could tell if Drak would be able to see the end of the battle with his eyes, or if destiny would call him before it...

 

Omeyn was really enraged. He would do anything to avenge her wife’s death. He always used to plan before attacking -- but his hatred was so big that he preferred to go without a plan -- his wish for vengeance was, at least for now, bigger than his careful way of acting.

 

Poeh’s troops were not so far away from his location. In thirty minutes he would be able to be face-to-face with the murderer of his wife. While he and his soldiers were running against time to kill Poeh, Das was arriving in Eirwd’s location. Another great fight was about to begin.

 

Particularly, both Generals had been enemies since their adolescence. They have both studied in the same school, which was named “Zacarias School”. There, while Das was a very smart, but not very beautiful girl, Eirwd was the best boy in the sports. He used to call her “ugly”, “ridiculous”, and “strange”. It was all thanks to him that she did not have a pleasant time in that school.

 

When they grew up, they accidentally went to the same College. And again, they could not be friends. But, Eirwd was grown now, and so he stopped badmouthing her. But they were destined to be enemies for the entire eternity. They would see who was better now, in this chance they had to kill the other.

While Das had 2,000 soldiers with her, Eiwrd had 3,250. But Das was very smart. If she were to lose, it would certainly be not because of difference in numbers. At first, both generals only stood talking.

 

“Aw, you have to come to kill us with your ugliness,?” Eirwd asked.

“Ha! I will make you regret saying that by killing you with this sword here,” she replied.

“As If! I’ll be the one who will bring victory to my lord,” he replied.

“Then, let us fight! For the sake of a better world, I’ll give you everything I have!,” she said.

 

And so the battle began. Das was outnumbered, but she was fantastic on the battlefield. She was worth 1,000 soldiers. With no more than thirty minutes of battle, both Generals had only 500 soldiers to help them. Das wanted to make Eirwd feel what she had felt during these years he made her suffer. Unlike Zarcy, who always had courage, Das had a temporary bravery, which would make she never back down, at least until Eirwd had been killed.

 

Meanwhile, Omeyn had finally arrived in Poeh’s location. Omeyn had more soldiers, but Poeh had traps. He was a very tricky man. What Omeyn had done was not wise. Poeh would surely take advantage to set a few traps, to make the battle end quicker and ensure that he succeeds once again.

 

As soon as Omeyn saw Poeh, he began to discuss verbally with him.

“You! You were the one who killed my wife.... I’ll make you pay, even if it’s the last thing I do!,” he said.

“Be calm, my friend. You will get nowhere if you just feed that hatred. We can resolve everything if we just have a nice, little conversation. What bothers you?,” he asked, with an ironic tone.

“You monster! How can you talk like that? I’ll make you eat these words! I will kill you with this knife!”, he said, while showing the finest knife he had, which he had just named “Vengeance’s Way”.

“Oh, my boy. I’m so sorry... You really love that imbecile, who preferred to die, rather than retreat? Oh... This even brings a tear to the eye.” he said.

“You are testing my patience, aren’t you? Really, look at this -- he picked a fruit on the ground -- see it? -- and so he destroyed it, and reduced it to one hundred pieces with the knife. This is how your body will be once I kill you!,” he said.

“Ah.. I’m so frightened... You know, kids should not be allowed to play with things like knives... You can get hurt.”, he said.

“THAT’S ENOUGH!”, Omeyn replied.

“No, it’s not. Before we fight, I have somethings I need to tell and show you. First, I need to tell you -- Your wife, I even asked if she wanted to join us before taking the life out of her body, but she refused... I wonder if it was because of her love for you? And, also, -- he picked her body -- and used his nails to scratch her face -- So beautiful... Why didn’t you just join us? Then I could marry you, and we could be happy forever -- then, he threw her body to the west. Now, we can begin our little battle.”

“I CAN’T STAND YOU.... YOU MONSTER! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT? YOU HAVE NO HEART... I’LL KILL YOU! I’LL RIP THIS FALSE SMILE OFF YOUR UGLY FACE! PREPARE TO DIE!,” Omeyn screamed, with more hatred than never.

 

Then, the most violent battle so far had just begun. Poeh used his first trap: An ambush, composed by 1,000 soldiers, appeared to help him. Omeyn was not scared, and he kept fighting, like nothing had happened.

 

After one hour, both Generals only had 250 soldiers to aid them. Omeyn had been hurt by an arrow, but there was no pain that would make him retreat, and forget his desire for vengeance. Twenty minutes after this, Omeyn had just 10 soldiers, and Poeh had 5 archers.

Omeyn managed to use his knife and hurt Poeh, who fell on the ground. He hurt him again, but before he could kill him, he was hit by two archers. Poeh was destined to die as well -- he had been badly injured by Omeyn.

 

Omeyn was very injured too. He decided to let Poeh suffering until he finally died, and went walking to the west. Even feeling a lot of pain, he decided to go to see his wife’s body for the last time. He managed to walk until he arrived in the place where she was, but just when he arrived, he could not walk anymore. He fell at her side, and passed his hands through her face, and hair.

 

After looking at her, he said “I love you. I always loved you. I will always love you. We’ll rest together for the entire eternity. We are soul sisters. Not even death can separate us.”, and so, some tears appeared from his eyes.

 

It was snowing at this time. And so, feeling cold, he said two times “I love. We will be forever together”, and closed his eyes permanently. The couple was really destined to live, and even die together. Their love was one of the biggest and most beautiful this world has ever seen.
