I couldnt find anything about this if anything it was just a small statement of acknowledgement. Im curious as of what the dream eater symbol on the back of Riku's new outfit mean? I was thinking that Sora would have one too but i couldnt see anything. I really want to hear some of the theories you guys may have for the reason of it being riku and what meaning could it have or what does it symbolize? I have a gut feeling it has to do with his darkness. Sorry if im repeating a dead topic.

Yea i saw it 2.~Naya

i was thinking maybe it's something about Darkness too. Like how Dark Form Riku had the Heartless symbol...

Also, Vanitas had a red distorted version of the unversed symbol on his dark suit too.

i figured it was just because they were sent to that world but sora does't have it so i guess not lol

I sense a reoccuring theme here. now only if that meant that riky has a substantial control over dream eaters or sumthing?

I thought it might have to do with the same reason there are the Dream Eater symbols around Traverse Town.

Do you mean the dream eater monsters or that there are literally symbols on the buildings of TT?

I would imagine if you look hard enough, that it is located somewhere on Sora as well, Nomura has a tendancy to overaccessorize his characters. There is a good chance that they simply though Riku's jacket looked too plain and felt like adding something to it. It might just be to symbolize that his outfit was created by the Dream World.

Lol, I haven't noticed before the DE symbols :P And look, Sora's DE Dog that I forgot the name is on that poster on that wall xD

I also think that the DE Symbol on Riku's back is representing that his clothes were "created" by the RoS (Realm os Sleep :D). I wouldn't be surprised if Sora had one aswell and if his symbol would be under his hood xD

:P sora needs to wear his hood up more

Take a good look above sora's head. LOL

It's funny how the topic changed from Riku's dream eater symbol, to how everyone is talking about sora's hood.

Everyone, the Dream Eater's symbols are on those archs. Just look really close and you'll see them. The problem is that those archs are too bright and colorfull, so it can be a little hard to find.
