Has a video game ever made you cry?

No, but it was close. In scenes like Xion's death, Aqua's ending and such in KH I had to hold some tears Dx

"Not quite, but I've held back a few tears."

And you?

No. But when I lisened to Xions theme I shead some tears.

I didn't play it, but I watched bits and pieces of a walkthrough of Final Fantasy Type-0 and I was bawling when I got to a certain point.

I did cry at Xion's death. That was really moving. Ruined by Roxas' stupid comment like, but really touching. For some reason, I wasn't all that sad with BBS, maybe because I kinda know what happens with Ven and Terra and Aqua.

As for video games in general, it's rare for a video game to have the perfect mix of music, plot and graphics. But, FFX, which I've noticed other people saying was really breathtaking. The silent hill games also have really amazing endings, which I have to say I've cried at a couple.

A certain cutscene towards the end of Okami always makes me sob, and the ending of Final Fantasy XIII. Other than that no other video game as made me cry.

I found myself crying in Final Fantasy VI when I learned about Rachel and Locke.

Y'know, I never finished that game, and I think the save file was deleted...

Great, gotta cry again if I'm ever gonna win that game. :c

No a Video Game has not made me cry before.

I have no emotion. Just a dark and empty entity full of hatred and negativity.

there were quite a few times i fought back the tears .. mostly kh games. but no i never cried from a game.

Yep, Xion's death, when Roxas' summer vacation ends, and the ending of FFX and Crisis Core. XIII's ending almost made me cry, but not quite.

I cried several times playing Kingdom Hearts, and Pokemon Black actually made me cry at the end as well. Yes, pokemon made me cry.

Why yes.

Yes they have.

For years, I always made fun of people who said they cried in movies and/or video games. Yes, that includes people who said they cried in KH1 and KH2. I laughed at people like them. I honestly didn't see what was causing them to cry. Then, after playing 358/2 Days, I completely changed. Never did I expect to cry so much after seeing Xion die in Roxas's arms. I couldn't sleep the night I finished the game, only cry. From that moment, I can finally see why people cry in video games. Even in movies as well. Months after finishing 358/2 Days, I cried for the first time in a movie after seeing Toy Story 3. While no movie or game have made me cry after those two, I admit I do get moved emotionally more than I did years ago. So to any one I laughed at for crying in a KH game, I'm sorry.

nope no games ever made me cry although there has been the odd one or two that has made me go aw how sad at times

Nope, neither has a book, movie, or tv show :D.

So what your a Dusk?

Every Kh game and lots of animes too.:*(

Haha my answer would be somewhere between "not quite, but I've held back a few tears" and "not really, but I've been moved a few times." Because with me, I came close to tearing up, but there weren't quite any tears to hold back. If that makes sense. xD

So yeah, there was:

-The ending of KH1 (haha the second time I played it, actually)

-Xion's death (I think)

-The Blank Points video, where Aqua was in the Realm of Darkness, especially when she said, "It's been such a long time since I've smiled." (I don't know if that's exactly what she said, but you get the picture.)

-And most of all, the ending of Crisis Core!! Like, seriously, even though I saw it coming... D:

I shed some tears at the end of Terra's story in BBS v.v . He had gone through alot of harships.

I shed a few tears for Xion's death. But I cried a loooottt when Zack died in Crisis Core :'( As stupid as it may sound, I see Zack as someone I look up to and as a hero figure. So yes Zack, I would say you became a hero :')

not really but the game that got me close to it was the ending of 358/2 xions death xD (i really had to fight back some tears) but then it helped when roxas said who will i have ice cream with xD mood killer lol

I just don't cry over these things, not that they don't move me. I don't cry easily. Even with stuff in rl, I'll get upset but not enough to cry usually. I guess I'm just messed up that way [/thelifeofanintrovert]

Xions death got me watery eyed. Zack's death in Crisis Core made me shed some tears.

I was deeply sad at the ending of inFamous 2 and 358/2 days. The only game that's made me cry was BBS.....poor Aqua.
