Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance has appeared in the January 2012 issue of V Jumpmagazine. FF-Reunion has found scans of the article, which you can see below. The article reveals that the new world to be announced at Jump Festa 2012 is a world based on The Three Musketeers. You can see these scans below, in our gallery.

 

 

- The Three Musketeers world announced

- Mickey, Queen Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pete (and of course, Sora and Riku) will appear in this world

- Three new Dream Eaters have been announced, Frog Chef, Mimi Bunny and Naru Bird

- Apparently, next week's Weekly Shōnen Jump will reveal more, including that you will fight with all of Neku, Joshua and Beat from The World Ends With You

So cool! I was actually writing a fanfic about this world, with Sora, Riku and Ven in the Musketeer's places... and now they added it to the canon! AMAZING~ I'm so happy~

I believe so, they just have to make a new model of Sora being something else and put some animations in it. I'm not really sure what you're asking about. Maybe I am missing something. The final boss is still a mystery to me but somehow I think that Sora vs 'real' Riku is going to happen. By 'real', I mean Riku is not possessed by darkness or anything.

Yes! I'm so excited! I always thought this would be a great world! But I didn't see how they could do it. But now I do. They're not the real Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, but the world's dream of them (or something like that). It's going to be very Timeless River esque.

 

And talks of this world are reminding me of Mike's Super Short Show's commercial for it. Is anyone old enough to have seen this? I still have much of the song memorized. LOL.

 

Also, I'm pretty sure Shiki's in the game. Nomura said she got seperated from Neku, so...

 

I'm just glad Josh is in it! His sarcasm is going to be so over Sora's head. But what is the Composer of Shibuya doing in someone else's UG?

 

Yay for more voice acting by the TWEWY cast. Now if Rhyme's there, and she has even one interaction with Joshua, my life will be made.

 

I seriously cannot wait for this game! It has everything I love. It's going to be epic.

Dude that's so cool! Haha this actually brings back a memory of when I was sleeping over with some friends, and we all took turns playing the first Kingdom Hearts on their brand new PS2 and afterward we watched Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers (it was the first time I ever saw it). they are also going to start recording of the music thats so cool i cant wait to hear the music that has been one of my favorite things about the series the music and story both so great and the characters of course lol

I'm not against the idea of having a world based on the Three Musketeers, but if the point of going to the worlds in this game is to save them from the realm of sleep, does that mean something happened to Disney Castle?

Besides, there isn't much more I can add since most of it is just reiterating stuff we already know or describing what the 3 Musketeers is about (I love seeing "All for one and one for all" in Japanese ). And the world name in the update is correct. If anyone wants me to translate the Screenshots again, I can do that.

 

Anyway, I'm so surprised. This world will be so fun. I've missed playing with Donald and Goofy. And Mickey to top it off? This world will be epic.

 

And a reminder to you guys: the SE's Jump Festa page said they were working on a demo with a new world, so chances are this will be the world we see in the demo (this, or Prankster's Paradise, or both. Who knows what they plan to show us).

Yes! True this information, probably means Jump Festa won't probably be as informative but it's nice to hear some news early. This is great, even if it does mean the return of Donald and Goofy, but they have swords, maybe they'll do something!
