When you get to Monstro, you have to swim across some type of liquid, but since Monstro is a living creature, that liquid can only be one thing, and that is just disgusting.

Considering that in the Movie it was shown that Monstro engulfed tons of water when he got his fish, I think you're over thinking it. You gotta think, when whales blow out through their blowholes, that is just water.

tutti frutti. I thought about that a number of times playing KH1. And to save myself the trouble of managing through that world, I just marked it off as water. Mostly since that's what shoot out of their blowholes.
