What type of computer do you prefer?

Recommended Posts

Desktops... even though mine is outdated like hell, and i don't have enough money to update it.

It is just a bit better to sit by my giant block of a pc and game than sit with my 15" laptop that can break if u drop it... i can't lift my desktop, so i can't drop it ehehehehehh...

Laptops. Why? It's better.

Except for being mobile,HOW? A computer has more space on its hard drive I believe,I'm sorry I don't know much about computers! And probably other stats in general.Oh yeah more RAM too I would think!

Desktop.

Don't like laptops.

Desktop.

Don't like laptops.

Why? Their mobile and their NOT that bad,I mean enough people seem to use them,so they can't be lol.

Um,Desktop! Why? Because I've been stuck with it for 8 years ever since 2003(and I am 15,born in 1996,so yeah),never enough money for a new computer, so yeah,I've never experienced a really powerful computer like a Windows 7 one... ALSO,I just don't travel that much,so I have absolutely NO USE for a laptop lol.It would be a waste of money to spend on that extra mobility convienence!

I thought this was going to be a Mac OS X v. Windows v. Linux thread... Anyway, Apple's laptops are built pretty good to compete with their iMac desktop, so laptop.

Desktop. Why?

It's what I got.

Why not a laptop?

Because I don't feel like I need one.

If I already have a desktop that works well, why should I buy a laptop?

For some reason I can't vote on this poll, I keep getting this error message: [#10355] You must cast your vote in each question of the poll.

Anyways if I can't vote, I'll just say it here. I prefer Desktops. They last longer than laptops in the long run.

Same here! :(

I prefer desktops, because they last longer and you can always get a bigger monitor for them, whereas with a laptop, you're stuck with the monitor you already have.

If you travel enough for the extra paid-for convienence to be worth its money lol, which I assume you don't.
