Actually kinda split: its kinda ridiculous but i do wish they could find an effective way to stopping online bullying (Thats extremely hard to do)

I hope Fred doesn't live in Arizona.

I think the bill drafters should be ashamed not only because the obviously dont understand the philosophy of trolling, but also because they cant use correct grammar when drafting a legal document. So embarrassing.

I hate trolls, but 25 years is a bit extreme. For Cyberbullying sure, but not trolling. Though I guess sometimes they aren't so different.

Who the hell want's to live in Arizona anyway?

Actually I might move there and get my troll face on. The prison discussions would be rather hilarious.

Thug: Mah boy over there, he got in for robbing a bank. Him? He stabbed his wife to death, with a paperclip. And me? I kidnapped the governor and pissed in his mouth. What are you in for?

Me: I called someone a shitface.

Thug: Haha! So?

Me: I did it on the internet.

Thug: OH SHIT! You guy's better not drop the soap around him!

This is awesome. It's a very hard thing to do to make trolling illegal especially if some of those idiots don't know that they are being trolled in the first place.

Wow seriously?

Trolling is everywhere, it's not going to be a law that's gonna stop it.

Trolling isn't everywhere. There are people IRL that don't even know what it is. So I guess the leaders of Arizona took it to there advantage becuase not everyone knows about trolling and the people wont care there if they don't know what it is. I also think that this is a little drawback from anonymous declaring war on the government so those old farts will do whatever they can to illegalize whatever they think is associated with anonymous.

I think they mean their gonna put trolls who are really bullys in jail.

The worst part about this bill is that they think cyberbullying can be fixed by attributing extreme punishment to those who do it. Cyberbullying is a large-scale problem, and this is not fixing the core of the issue AT ALL. The problem that needs to be tackled is bullying and measures to prevent that, which is still a difficult task to undertake. The way I see it, there is barely any argument for this bill.
